  1. I don't think anyone is really surprised Birmingham are struggling to get someone in..there team building has been shocking in recent times.
  2. Stewart Dickson was around 30k under the bates
  3. I speak to him at most meetings and he has unbelievable regret at the shape of the track. He actually brings it up often for a laugh but in good spirits.
  4. Dave Helmsley wanted him at Leicester a while back. He asked for 50k a year so God knows what tolley is paying him
  5. Paul Cairns will be a big pull for young brits. He's mega keen on his son and other lads getting plenty of laps in. Sonny can practice at leicester as much as he needs too.
  6. Could Max Clegg sign ? Think his average is higher than I thought but in a weaker league he could be a smart signing
  7. Maybe the appeal of track use 7 days a week was a important factor for tate? That's why Boughton signed for the cubs last year so he could do extta practice if he wanted too.
  8. Imagine what clubs like Edinburgh, Redcar, Workington could do with that backing? They would be right up there I reckon mixing it up building even better sides assembled
  9. That's what I did last time so that is an option
  10. I'm only a 45 minute drive away from Perry bar. What puts me off going is the fact I have to fight through traffic everytime. If I get there early I can't park it at the stadium either. Once I'm in there the viewing is fairly poor and I feel a mile away from the track. I must say the indoor facilities are pretty good though compared to some. I went twice last year and will I go back in 2024? Probably not worth the hassle for me.
  11. Fair play Workington certainly going for it. Young hungry riders. Cook at the top helping the younger lads .
  12. Think it's the pawlicki brothers. Spoke to a rider a few weeks ago who said they were signed
  13. He's put in money in fair play but that is what he signed up for surely? Plus the money he's put in in terms of team building has been woeful. Fingers crossed he can pull a few stars into Perry bar.
  14. It's still a cracking side. 4 heat leaders which no other team can say plus some riders that should improve there averages
  15. Tobias Thomson. Never heard of him but seems an interesting signing
  16. Where can find a website that shows all the riders racing on Poland. I can find the extra liga riders but not much else
  17. It's a good side and have to agree with you there. Iversen at 5 away from home certainly doesn't put fear into many sides
  18. Riders like masters, lawson etc will eventually get their averages too high and be pushed out the league . Its a slow process.
  19. From a leicester fan don't fix what isn't broken. We moved up and the crowds have slightly dropped and I can't say the racing is any better. It's good seeing top notch riders but there isn't much else I would shout about.
  20. Which rider are we speaking about I'm lost haha
  21. There's even more the pick from if clubs are smart about it.
  22. Craig Cook Batch, Z Kennedy, Spencer, Simpson, C King, J Thomas, F Bowes, J, Smith, A Rowe, Ablitt, Clegg, Bickley, Stonemen, Neilsen, Sedgmen, J Wright, Pearson, Riss, Anderson are just a few Workington can go for. Slim pickings for heat leaders but I'm sure a few will fancy riding Workington. Could Wojdylo sign for a championship club?
  23. Poole built a team last year on always being strong at reserve and 2 n 4. This time round they've gone for complete fire power. For a 38 point limit to be having 4 heat leaders in some doing. They are going be destroying teams at home with that firepower. Yes weaker at reserve but many other teams have 2 point riders in the side. I've watched M Perry last year at Leicester, super smooth style and has a bright future. Don't expect him though to fly around the air fence just yet. He's only 16 and is coming off a bad crash, but what I will say is II rarely saw him fall off the bike. Always gets points and if he's a Poole fan even better. Curious to see who the last rider is
  24. I think it's a really dangerous side. It's not perfect but there's plenty of progression for this team to get better. Super strong at reserve and some steady Eddie's in the side that will score plenty of points. But do they have enough though to go to places like Poole and Glasgow in a play off semi final and win? Not so sure.
