  1. I expect fricke to return along with Lawson and kemp. Becker, Douglas and Masters could all end up at leicester. Flint a possibility also with the Stewart Dickson/ Berwick connection.. I'm still confident we will be at the tapes next year with just a few details to sort out .
  2. Waiting on others to finish the fixtures plus poor planning on leicesters behalf.
  3. You clearly didn't see how things went last Saturday then. Minor rain and I even spoke to the trackman and he said the track was fine. None the less riders didn't fancy it. So we re arrange meeting in October when it's wet. Seems daft to me. If it rains I get it you can't have speedway especially when it's bad but the track can barely take an inch seeing what I saw last week.
  4. I spoke quite a few that were very very confident. Depends what you read and hear
  5. I'm sure it's Robert Lambert not Simon! Quick switch in the changing rooms nobody would ever know!
  6. No you can't please all folk but believe me the promotion have cocked up yet again. The drainage hasn't solved anything . The track has rain the day beforehand and it struggles to cope and that's with Andy, Graham and SD doing their best to sort it out. If they can't fix it then it's obviously a track issue. I honestly don't see how you can defend the promotion when they weren't going to offer refunds but were forced to in the end simply to down to social media pressure from fans. So basically admitted they were wrong. Let's not forget something similar happened last year. Grand final with a chance at glory and guess what? The track couldn't cope. But don't worry folks our drainage is great!
  7. I really don't agree how leicester have done this. I would have let fans in who had a ticket from week in for free as an apology for last week's mess. If a supporter didn't have a ticket from last week then they pay as normal. None of this wristband crap
  8. I'm not bothering now knowing I'd have to pay an extra tenner as well now to get in. I doubt it go ahead anyways
  9. The promoter is in the good books with a few already allowing more practice days at leicester.
  10. Thank god some one else agrees . I've heard so many so called speedway experts slander all the fans online about this. Even Lee Complins wife went online to defend him. I was standing right in front of where Lee fell off and everyone all said (even the steward ) that he didn't make any effort . Surprise surprise he fell off at Workington today also. You should have seen Stewart Dicksons face when Lee fell...he wasn't best pleased put it that way..
  11. Naa I usually gather what the meeting was like coming on this forum haha
  12. If he means upgrading in the championship then Poole would be a great place to go. Think he wants trophies and Poole are always in the hunt. Where else could he go? Glasgow, Poole, Redcar, Oxford?
  13. Good result for Poole but Douglas and kemp will make life difficult for them. Newman and Cook brothers are the key at home for poole
  14. Just been announced that Workington are moving up to the championship.
  15. I thought Kings Lynn team at the start wasn't bad either. I didn't think it would win the league but certainly make a case for the play offs. Signing riders like Lawson will steady the boat but they are desperate for a number 1.
  16. From people I spoke to last night il be amazed if there's more than 200 hundred that turn up for remaining fixtures. Even I'm considering not bothering just because there's a high chance of it being cancelled when the riders see the track. I'm just amazed they had a parade still and got everyone hopes up.
  17. I feel like starting a ' why does everybody hate Poole ' thread again
  18. The forecast looks poor for next week so I doubt the second leg at leicester will go ahead. There's the play off final and KO Cup final to squeeze in and it's mid ocotober. Can't wait to see leicester lose the title at Kings Lynn
  19. Buster is always available when we need him
  20. The track wasn't great but I don't know where to start on who to blame. Club could have been more transparent on track conditions earlier to warn fans. They could have got one of twins to race on it earlier to see how bad it was. I can't fault Stewart or Graham the track man. Graham worked all day on it and told me it was fine from he could see. A man whose been doing it for many years by the way. I spoke to ref before and after the meeting, he said the track looked solid and fine (an hour before tapes up) and even during the track walk the riders had zero complaints. The ref said after he was surprised at the riders not wanting to ride it. I was standing right by the pits and can honestly say Lee Complin made zero effort to even hold on to the bike. He was the only rider to fall off TWICE by the way (twice the age of Dan Thompson) Even Ben Trigger done a wheelie before! What is it with Leicesters track in October? Those poor Mildenhall fans who made the long journey to leicester must be just as annoyed as I am.
