I overheard Kurtz in a bar last week saying that it has always been his dream to quit the GP's and ride for Workington in the Championship. At least i think it was him, he was ginger but i'd had a few jars.
-
It's looking like a very strong team so far.
-
He'll be the strongest reserve then.
-
The Monarchs came within one heat from dumping the Tigers out of the Play-off Semi-Final. What's your point?
-
If the Tigers couldn't win anything with a Top 5 of Harris (9.55), Thompson (9.50), Howarth (8.84), Nagel (8.61) and Flint (8.17)* along with a couple of reserves who weren't out of their depth in the Championship then i doubt Harrison will be the answer. I think the problem lies elsewhere. *2025 average not GSA

What was the reason for posting this?

Doesn't matter. With Cammy as team manager you could name Bewley, Kurtz, Lindgren, Zmarzlik, Doyle, Kubera and Holder and they will win as much silverware as the Tigers won last year - none.
-
I doubt that but i guess we'll see, won't we.

Workington?
-
17, 18 who cares. According to his own website he's 17, you'd better tell him to update it. And remind me of a time when Luke Harrison scored highly around Ashfield, or for that matter looked anything other than a reserve when he visited the place. Hodder is probably a better bet for next year than Harrison (on an average more than 2 points lower).
-
They'll just sit around deciding on how to drive another nail into speedway's coffin. Like they do every year.
-
Ashton was talented and was not handed everything on a plate.
-
After last years experience with Ashton Boughen i can't see the Tigers going for Luke Harrison, another 17-year-old, on a 5 point average. I can see Tate Zischke (5.65?) being targeted due to the promotion's links with Workington. Flint and Zischke would be a very strong 3 & 4, possibly the strongest in the league.
-
Pedersen on a 5 point average at number 4 isn't likely to happen and wouldn't be condusive to a strong middle order.
-
That's true but what's to suggest that it won't be the opposite next year where he might start out well and then regresses? If he could attain what he achieved at the tail-end of last season i would agree with you about him being worthy of a place next year.

Probably.

No wait! Hear me out on this... 1 Dan Thompson 8.50 2 Kye Thomson 5.93 3 Polish Rider 6.00 4 Polish Rider 6.00 5 Polish Rider 6.00 6 Jonathan Grahn 5.30 7 Jordy Loftus 2.14 39.87

I think Ritchie has.

1 Dan Thompson 8.50 2 Paco Castagna 7.05 3 Steve Worrall 6.88 4 Kye Thomson 5.93 5 Justin Sedgmen 7.34 6 Brigitte Macron 2.00 7 Jordy Loftus 2.14 39.84

How about trying to entice Nick Morris along with another Pole to Armadale for 2026? 1 Dan Thompson 8.50 2 Another Polis(h) Rider (Not Polis) 6.00 3 Nick Morris 6.80 4 Kye Thomson 5.93 5 Justin Sedgmen 7.34 6 Hugh Kerrs (3.29) 7 Jordy Loftus 2.14 36.71

I understand but he wouldn't be in the main body for long, after six meetings he would be replaced by a more experienced Hodder at 2 if Hodder does indeed progress. Smith and Perry at 6 & 7 would be a good reserve paring imo.
-
Why not? Jenkin is on 4.84 GSA which will be reduced.
-
1 Chris Harris 8.98 2 Jack Smith 2.91 3 Drew Kemp 7.88 4 Leon Flint 7.20 5 Kyle Howarth 7.91 6 Freddy Hodder 2.63 7 Max Perry 2.45 39.93 The two reserves have plenty of scope to kick on this season and be better than last season when Freddy seemed to run out of steam and Max had a nasty accident which he was tentatively coming back from as the season ended. Paul Smith would be a bit out of his depth at number 2 but he's always good for a few points around Ashfield and is passionate about his speedway.
-
Bowtell and Jenkins would be better than Bowtell and Thomsen
-
Bigger crowds in speedway in general back then.
