  2. Would Ashton Boughen be interested in resuming his speedway career at Armadale? He would just fit in at number 6 in this team
  3. Apart from his u21 win at Ashfield Sam Hagon hasn't really made any progress, in fact he always underwhelms, especially around Ashfield. I really thought he'd have kicked on by now.
  4. 1 Lawson 2 Cairns 3 Kerr 4 Bowes 5 Rowe 6 Boughen 7 Rushden
  5. I've heard he's shortened his long name to He Bangs
  6. Sam Masters - speedway rider by night, Deliveroo rider by day... I don't think so. And you make it sound like jobs are easy to walk into and riders can easily fit their speedway around them during the summer months
  7. It would be significant. That's why the owners of Belle Vue haven't suggested merging the leagues and would never agree to it
  8. Riders like Doyle and Woffinson recently claimed that it was a mistake to forgo British speedway as they thought it was beneficial to their GP chances which is why they came back. The top league is a lot better than the Championship in terms of standard which can clearly be seen at Belle Vue where they currently have Bewley and the World's number 2. I just don't think the top riders in the top league would be overjoyed at having to make a trip to Armadale on a Friday night. I also remember the last time they merged the leagues and it was dreadful and so many races were predictable. That's why it never lasted.
  9. I think Glasgow may try to pinch Tate Z from Workington as his average is very enticing but I'm not sure what his or Workington's plans are for next season.
  10. I'm surprised the Bears couldn't get anyone to guest for them but I think the Pirates will be too much for them tonight anyway.
  11. I would have gone with Nagel in the superheat because up until his engine failure he had been flying. I also feel that Howarth couldn't handle the pressure in those last two heats and a younger more fearless head might have been the better option. In the end Harris had given his all and had no more to give so it's all a moot point now.
  12. What's with all the Scotland flags in the way to the stadium? It's been a couple of years since I left the car at home and walked through Possil but it doesn't resemble Scotland any more at all. I felt like an extra in Black Hawk Down. The demographics have massively changed and I definitely didn't recognise the place. I'll be going back to taking the car next year.
  13. I'm looking forward to tonight and I predict a 12-point win for Glasgow and a race-off. Good luck to all the riders tonight and hopefully there will be some great racing making it a great advert for the sport 👍
  14. Because the Glasgow management have never doctored the track to their advantage 🤣 Is Gerry going to be the first to "ditch the selfish approach"? I doubt it.
  15. All the best sport stars in every discipline have huge egos. And that's not a bad thing. Does Christiano Ronaldo not shout a bit? I'm just glad to see both youngsters are coming along nicely and will probably be of premiership standard before they are out of their teens. British speedway needs more like them, not whiny fans like you constantly griping about kids.
  16. Is Bomber trying to reduce his average for next season?
  17. Haven't the Comets still got a chance of qualifying?
  18. What possessed them to water the track so much. It's threatening to rain.
  19. Simon Lambert was the fastest Scorpion last night and he wasn't even on his bike when he proved it.
  20. Fun fact: Each of the top five riders in the Tigers team have over an 8 point average* for the season after Nagel's performance last night. *not GSA
  21. Not the change in time. Definitely not at lunchtime. Long afterwards. Anyway, it was abandoned after 12 heats so i saved £20.
  22. Yeah genius but that was edited probably at around 5pm the last time i checked it. Originally it didn't say anything about a time change and then that news item was taken down completely from the site for a couple of hours until they had edited it.
  23. There's sweet FA on the Tigers website about the switch in kick-off time, what a wasted journey I've just had. I'm not on Twitter so how was I supposed know about this change? Shocking
