Holder's always come as a pair don't they? If interested in British Speedway then Rew is surely in the engine room at Ipswich.
-
So I make the averages the following. Jack Holder 9.08 Chris Holder 6.84 Anders Rowe 5.22 Leon Flint 5.05 Jye Etheridge 3.00 = 29.19 Which leaves 7.81 so either Tai gets 10% Total Reduction on his GSA which takes it from 8.67 to 7.77 or SpeedwayGP is wrong and Tai is the Ipswich No.1.
-
Takes his GSA down to 7.77 after adding the 2.5% British Reduction discount as well.
-
What % is the further reduction?
-
Should be and I'd make Leicester serious dark horses. Fair enough they don't have a proper No.1 but they've got points scorers across the board imo and in a weaker League it maybe the right play.
-
It's a weird mistake to make unless someone has done it on purpose as we've seen Top Heat Leader signings for British Clubs being spoilt in previous seasons via apps. Rumour is Mayfield Sports are the takeovers at Ipswich so Woffinden as the Ipswich No.1 makes all the sense in the world.
-
SpeedwayGP website also lists Kurtz at Belle Vue so I'm not sure that it's an error.
-
SpeedwayGP website has Tai Woffinden listed as a Sheffield Rider. If true then we need to be all over Josh Pickering ASAP, Leader on and off the track who's racked up big scores around Foxhall.
-
That's thrown a spanner in the works.
-
I agree. Pretty much locking in a 1 & 5 of Woffy and Brennan at this point.
-
Not for me, Age is catching up with him and he's only going to decline as a rider now.
-
3 League Rule apparently. Klindt interests me as well, Another consistent performer who can ride Foxhall very well.
-
I wouldn't mind Brennan @ No.1 either. Only going to improve again.
-
Hot take. I'm taking Jaimon Lidsey over Tai Woffinden. Jaimon's stats away from the NSS prove that he's a Heat Leader (More 1st Places than 2nd, 3rd and 4th) and if we went down the Leicester route by not having a No.1 but having a proven Heat Leader @ No.1 who'll be backed up in every department of the team then we could be onto a winner. I'm a big fan of Tai's but I would really have concerns over the recent injury record and if he was to get injured again then like Sheffield, You're scrambling around having to make a double change due to no top rider being available. A Top 4 of Lidsey, Brennan, Lawson and Musielak for example in a weak League is worth considering. All proven Heat Leaders in a higher standard British League who are all capable of Double Figures on any given night.
-
I see your point but Ipswich have had a team of Foxhall specialists over the last few years to a point where it's difficult for the vast majority of away riders to score points against them. If you're not facing Doyle then it's Emil, If it's not Emil then it's a 3 & 4 pairing like Brennan/Ellis or King/Rew etc.
-
I think anyone will be a step down from Doyle or Emil unless a rabbit is pulled out of the hat. I agree that Jaimon hasn't done much around Foxhall but it's difficult to score points against a Team of track specialists on their home track.
-
Don't know why some opposition fans are desperate for Lidsey to join Ipswich thinking he'd be a terrible signing. Jaimon actually had more 1st places than 2nd, 3rd and 4th's away from the NSS last season and it'll be a much weaker League this year. Potential value in the 7.87 GSA imo, I'd put him in the same bracket as Musielak. The weaker the League, The more value their GSA's hold imo.

If Jenkins does get the 25% Reduction again because the rules aren't worth the paper they're written on. Team A 1. T. Woffinden 8.45 2. 5.22 or 5.35 left (S. Nicholls?) 3. T. Musielak 6.63 or D. King 6.50 4. K. Rew 6.19 5. T. Brennan 7.05 6. J. Jenkins 3.46 7. J. Edwards (RS) Team B 1. J. Lidsey 7.87 2. 5.80 left (S. Nicholls or a 5.00 Newcomer) 3. & 4. (Any combination of T. Musielak 6.63, D. King 6.50 and K. Rew 6.19) 5. T. Brennan 7.05 6. J. Jenkins 3.46 7. J. Edwards (RS) Team C (Strength in depth like Leicester) 1. T. Brennan 7.05 2. K. Rew 6.19 3. 6.84 left (N-K. Iversen 6.71, D. King 6.50 or N. Klindt 6.46) 4. T. Musielak 6.63 5. R. Lawson 6.83 6. J. Jenkins 3.46 7. J. Edwards (RS)

Notiable Riders who haven't signed up in 3 Leagues. Tai Woffinden (Rumoured No.1) Jaimon Lidsey Tom Brennan (Rumoured to Return) Richard Lawson Niels-Kristian Iversen Tobiasz Musielak (Rumoured to be in the side) Danny King Matej Zagar Nicolai Klindt Charles Wright Keynan Rew (Rumoured to Return) Rohan Tungate
-
I forgot his average but what average would Scott Nicholls be on again? Dream tail end would be Nicholls, Jenkins and Edwards @ 2, 6 & 7.
-
What are everyone's thoughts on Jaimon Lidsey 7.87? Been good in Australia and I think he's a rider who's only going to improve but the Foxhall record is a bit patchy however he wouldn't be riding against track specialists in every heat like he has been doing when competing as a visiting rider for Belle Vue.
-
Jonas Jeppesen is the rider i'd be going for at No.6.
-
I'm thinking that he might be the No.6 now instead of Zischke.
-
Pretty much, Reading between the lines. They're hoping somebody with deep pockets is willing to throw a lot of money down the drain to run Northampton at Oxford.
-
I'd happily have Rocket Man at Ipswich. Been a consistent performer for years in this league where his GSA rarely drops. Track specialist around King's Lynn and Leicester too which helps in a 5 Team League.
