Highly likely Magic takes 6 rides (Tactical Included) hence the reason why bet365 are going off scratch, Potential trap bet imo.

IPSWICH -8.0 & The Hcap Tie @ 4/6 & 8/1 (I don't see any scenario where Oxford put up over 41 Points tonight) ANDERS ROWE 0 vs. Jonas Jeppesen @ 10/11 (Has Jeppesen ever done a lap around Sheffield?)

Oxford was another one but yeah battered was a harsh word to use. -

I know but that's different because the riders will have different bikes and equipment for Poland. I'll be interested to see what the Handicap is on Birmingham tonight. -

They're a nightmare to predict, Every other team in the league are realatively easy to predict. I remember last season when they were losing at Home regularly to the weaker sides in the league, Yet they were taking the better sides in the league (Belle Vue and Sheffield) to last Heat deciders. And they've continued in the same manner this season in the KO Cup, Battered by Leicester at Home and then they more than likely would've won at Leicester if it wasn't for Zagar's late bike issues that made him miss Heats 13 & 15. Birmingham are consistently in-consistent and it really is all on the day with them. -

If Sheffield had a couple of KO Cup meetings under their belt then I would've said Sheffield all day long as they're a much better team than Birmingham. It's just these early season meetings can be a bit of a lottery sometimes with left field results due to some riders having a few last minute issues that need sorting out. From what I can recall I think only Chris Holder has taken part in a challenge match in the UK so far this season (Peter Craven Memorial) so Birmingham should be sharper despite being the inferior team. I hope Sheffield win for Tai though. EDIT Anders Rowe took part in NKI's Testimonial. -

I'm sticking with my original prediction of course as I think race sharpness will play a role. Birmingham are difficult to work out because they either get battered in one sided meetings or they take teams to last heat deciders. -

I hope that Sheffield can pull off a win for Tai but I think Birmingham will win due to Sheffield having not ridden a meeting this season. Tobiasz Musielak knows his way around Sheffield and I'd fancy Jason Edwards to be the highest scoring reserve on show. -
A new article is available on Sportowefakty in regards to Tai's condition / health for those of you who want to read it. I will not be posting it on here due to the fact that I fully respect the wishes of Tai's family and the fact that the Sportowefakty article has likely been posted without their consent. Just like the Speedway World, My thoughts and prayers are fully with Tai and his loved ones.

Marek Cieslak is just talking nonsense to try and stay relevant in 2025. Even the riders are refusing to take part in Sparring matches in Poland now with various postponements taking place due to the air fences after Tai's awful crash.
-
For those that cant see it due to them not having a META/Instagram account.

That's only fair imo. Fingers crossed that we hear a positive update in regards to Tai's health in the near future (When his loved ones are ready of course)

If this was a boxing match, It would result in a 1st Round stoppage. Ipswich by 20 points but it could rise to 30 points if Francis Gusts has an off night.
-
Despite the defeat imo, King's Lynn came out of last night's meeting with more positives than Belle Vue. Everyone at King's Lynn should be thinking of the positives rather than the negatives because there's a lot to be encouraged about last night imo. King's Lynn's top two only scored 6+1 between them and it still only resulted in a 2 point defeat due to three 5-1's turning into three shared Heats which would've resulted in an easy 10 point win on the night, A winning margin that most forum members predicted before the off. The defending Champions Belle Vue are being branded as one of Ipswich's main threats this season (Bookies 2nd Favourites), Unlike Oxford who are nailed on for the wooden spoon (On Paper) and King's Lynn's rock solid 1-7 with no real big hitters proved that they could more than compete with Belle Vue around the AFA. Where's what have Belle Vue really got to gloat about, They won but it was only due to the other teams misfortunes, They'll know full well that they cant rely on that happening to the opposition every week so in reality they still need to improve drastically if they want to defend their title.

I don't know why Aces fans are going over the top for, Yes you finished the meeting well as I said last night and you won the meeting by 2 points but the warnings signs are still lingering in regards to the Belle Vue 1-7. Got to take into account that If it wasn't for King's Lynn's issues earlier in the meeting it would have resulted in a third straight double digit defeat for Belle Vue this season (50 - 40). I'd be happy with the win but I'd also be very wary at the same time because it was far from convincing and you needed alot of luck against a team that doesn't have an out and out No.1/No.5.
-
Belle Vue 5 Race Winners in the last 5 Heats showed alot of bottle and character, They took full advantage of the luck that they got earlier in the night. Heats 12 & 14 proved to be very costly for King's Lynn tonight and King's Lynn cannot afford that to happen much this season with the way the team has been built as they'll always be sitting ducks in Heats 13 & 15 against a team that has a strong No.1/No.5. Best wishes to Ashton Boughen.

I'm giving it a miss as well Bald Bloke. I like the Lidsey bet but he hasn't started the season well so despite the easier rides on paper, I'm not confident enough to put money on the bet. I only had Lidsey down for 6 and Lawson down for 5 but that was based around Harris finishing ahead of Lawson on both occasions.
-
Tough one tonight. I've got KL 52-38 BV but that's not with a tactical ride included, If the tactical is a Kurtz/Bewley 5-1 then I've got the final result down as KL 50-40 BV also. Kurtz +1 v Harris is tempting but I cant bring myself to back it due to the amount of easy points Harris is going to rack up at reserve and as always if a KL rider hits the tapes or misses the 2 Mins Rob will just give the ride to Bomber. The only bet that I like is JAIMON LIDSEY 0 v Richard Lawson @ 21/20 and that's because Lawson is facing Kurtz & Bewley twice whilst riding with Bomber twice.

CLUB STATEMENT: TAI WOFFINDEN AS you are most likely aware, Sheffield racer Tai Woffinden was involved in a crash whilst racing in Poland on Sunday. Whilst we understand the concern for Tai’s health and wellbeing, Sheffield Speedway will not be going into any further detail at this stage. We are in constant communication with his family - who have confirmed that reports in the Polish media have gone out without their permission or approval. Members of Tai’s family will be flying to the hospital later on Monday evening, where he is currently being treated, and will provide the club with a full update as and when they have learned the full facts and when they are comfortable in doing so. Sheffield Speedway once again politely asks supporters not to respond to rumours out of respect to Tai and his family.

Rowe @ No.6 would be a trump card like Dan Thompson imo. Maybe they'll get a big hitter but I'm just guessing that they won't because Oxford surely would've snapped one up if riders were available instead of running a 1-7 that's way under the points limit. -
He's just trying to manipulate a distasteful pile on instead of realising the obvious. I too was feeling sick to my stomach after reading the translation as I don't understand a word of Polish so I ask for all articles to be translated by Google and those were the words that it produced for me. As a British person, I wasn't to know that some Polish words have different meanings to them, Only someone who speaks fluent Polish and English would know that. After I was made aware, I then altered the article and said that I'd be happy to make any further adjustments if needed.
