  1. Assuming the ITK info is 100% spot on (Pedersen & Andersen to Panthers, Emil & Hume to Ipswich) Predictions based off current 1-7's only (Not taking mid-season changes into account) 1. SHEFFIELD (Just solid from top to bottom and I can't find a fault in the side) 2. BELLE VUE (Young team where everyone has the potential to improve, Expecting to see at least 3 riders up their average) 3. PETERBOROUGH (Should win by big margins at Home with our spearhead along with Ben Cook at 6 who will love the Showground that should lead to us collecting a fair share of Bonus Points too, Andersen is a huge worry though which is why I can't rank Panthers any higher than 3rd despite us having an Elite No.1) 4. IPSWICH (Fantastic top two but weak at reserve, I don't think the tail end holds up away from Home tbh, I think the tail end will have it's moments but it'll miss more than it hits, BP's could be a struggle for Ipswich as it's difficult to see them winning by big enough margins but Doyle & Emil will see them into the play-offs) 5. LEICESTER (I get Lakeside Hammers / Eastbourne Eagles vibes with Leicester where they'll win easily at Home but falter on the road almost every week, Sedgmen in the 1-5 with Allen @ 6 is a concern imo considering the latter has been poor for a couple of years now) 6. KING'S LYNN (Doesn't have any firepower but they're solid enough to avoid last place imo due to KL having a strong No.6 all season) 7. WOLVES (Too many question marks hovering over the 1-7 imo, Wolves rely on their Home form to prop them up the table every year but every team should be strong at Home in 2023, Could finish 6th but KL do have that powerful reserve all season long which is why I give them the nod over Wolves) PETERBOROUGH & IPSWICH to bail out in the Semi-Finals unless Panthers sign a strong 2nd string and Ipswich sign a strong reserve. SHEFFIELD to get revenge on BELLE VUE in the Grand Final.
  2. I can see your point tbh but Emil has to go at 5 due to the reserves imo. Danyon Hume is in the Drew Kemp 2022 situation and it could go horribly wrong imo but if you partner him with Emil then Emil should be taking enough chequered flags to ease the pressure on Hume's shoulders.
  3. Busters had his bacon saved by Nicki P BIG TIME! If it wasn't for Nicki then he'd have some explaining to do because we could've been left way under the limit. Our 1-7 still challenges for silverware due to the HL trio as well as having a strong No.6 all season, Basso will improve rapidly under the influence of fellow countrymen Nicki & NKI. I think one of Worrall or Andersen will get sacked early / mid-season if Tomalin completes the takeover.
  4. So did Buster boot Tungate out just to do Worrall a favour after he spent last season at KL? Or was it due to no spanner being found?
  5. Buster making Holder splash out on a race suit knowing full well he wasn't going to be in the side and then leaving the BSF ITK's to notify everyone that Holder is out is a brutal revenge plot. Buster is a savage tbh.
  6. Proving they're problematic for team spirit already imo.
  7. It's Pedersen and Andersen for sure. Andersen was over here recently down Peterborough way, 100% to sign a contract because you wouldn't be over here just to deliver a parcel to somebody. Nicki P has been strongly linked and he's agreed to ride for a price, We've obviously met that price imo.
  8. I'll happily pay good money to see Nicki P being a sh1thouse every week
  9. Could easily turn out to be the meeting of the season with the talent on show. Ben Cook vs. Keynan Rew too in a battle of young Aussie's.
  10. Always goes very well around our place, He'll put a point on his average if he stays fit imo.
  11. I think fans of every club should be happy tbh. Our league hasn't been held in high regard around Europe for a while now, Getting as many big names back as possible will only help British Speedway re-build it's image. Attendances will improve, More people will buy streaming passes, Better product for the fans, More sponsorship chances should open up as well. About time we took our rightful place on the Speedway ladder again by being referred too as the second best league in the world.
  12. No budget left for another expensive EU rider if we're getting Nicki P at 3.5k a night.
  13. Only Hans Andersen or Craig Cook considering Troy Batchelor falls into the Chris Holder bracket when it comes to Buster. Hans can't ride big tracks anymore but he's popular with the fans. Cookie scoring all depends on what side of the bed he wakes up on.
  14. Every sport will backtrack on the banning of Russian athletes eventually, Just a case of when and not if it happens imo. Can't ban Russian sportsmen for the next 5 years just because of Politics.
  15. Prefer Nicki. I'm not convinced that Lindgren would be able to fulfill a full British calendar considering his long covid issues, I could see a scenario where he would quit British racing halfway into the season if the long covid starts causing him bother.
  16. GP riders confirmed (Bewley, Doyle, Fricke & J. Holder) Potential returning riders to Britain (Emil Sayfutdinov + Nicki Pedersen or Freddie Lindgren) Masters really isn't on their level.
  17. Like I said hours ago Masters average is highly inflated due to his performances around Monmore. The stats don't lie, Look at the significant drop off away from Monmore.
  18. Flint is the strongest RS in the league imo. Masters is good around Monmore but I think he's poor on the big tracks hence why I think he'll struggle especially if Ipswich & Pboro manage to get the top end riders they want.
  19. Did ride 15 meetings at reserve though, Easy for riders to fill their boots against NL reserves and 3.00/3.50 journey men imo.
  20. Masters has an inflated average due to how well he goes around Monmore imo.
  21. No second announcement this morning, We was supposed to get multiple announcements this week so maybe things have changed again (Andersen)
  22. I think Masters will be the weakest No.1 in the league and he could struggle if all of the rumoured Elite riders return to Britain. How long will Schlein take to settle back in is a question mark imo. Zach Cook as the senior reserve could struggle considering his Championship average is still under 5.00 after a couple of years.
