I wasn't either but we did get a hint on here before the Polish article was even released.
-
I'm not a fan of Robert Lambert but I do respect his ability on a Speedway bike. I just don't think it'll be a good look if Ipswich don't have a No.1 and then Northampton announce Robert as their No.1. Northampton are just as far behind as Ipswich when it comes to team building.
-
When Mayfield announce the Team, It's going to be the most crucial Team announcement that they'll ever do imo because it will set the precedent for the new era.
-
New Era, New Club Captain -> Tom Brennan Stayed loyal to Ipswich during this incredibly frustrating winter, Got a good head on his shoulders who's well spoken. Tom could easily be a Witches rider for a good few years imo. That's what I would do anyway.
-
Very true.
-
Good post, You make a lot of good points to be fair.
-
Maybe a controversial topic..... What are fans views on Jason Doyle bailing out very early while Tom Brennan has stuck around especially if Ipswich run without a No.1 this season?
-
Klindt has a liking for the NSS, AFA and Leicester as well as having proven pedigree around Foxhall. That's a no brainer signing imo especially when only 3 Teams will reach the play-offs where everything will likely come down to Away Form and Bonus Points imo.
-
What I think the 1-7 will be considering Lawson, Riss and Wright are all rumoured for Northampton. 1. R. Lambert 8.00 2. J. Jenkins 4.49 3. D. King 6.50 4. N. Klindt 6.46 5. T. Brennan 7.05 6. J. Jeppesen 4.34 7. J. Edwards (RS) = 36.84
-
I see what you mean now.
-
I agree. 8.00 - 2.5% British Reduction = 7.80
-
1. R. Lambert 7.80 (8.00 Assessed - 2.5% British Reduction) 2. S. Nicholls 5.25 (1.5 Conversion + Further 2.5% Reduction) 3. D. King 6.50 (2.5% Reduction) 4. R. Tungate 5.89 5. T. Brennan 7.05 (2.5% Reduction) 6. J. Jenkins 4.49 (2.5% Reduction) 7. J. Edwards (RS) = 36.98 instead of 37.79
-
8.08 is 5.39 after CHAMP Conversion with a further 2.5% British Rider discount taking it down to 5.25.
-
Does anyone know the conversion rate for CHAMP Averages?
-
Everything hinges on Lambert tbh, It's the make or break signing imo.
-
Possible???? 1. R. Lambert 7.81 2. J. Jenkins 4.49 3. T. Musielak 6.63 4. D. King 6.50 5. T. Brennan 7.05 6. J. Jeppesen 4.34 7. J. Edwards (RS) = 36.82

It would but Mayfield will have a huge problem winning over the Ipswich faitful if that's the case imo. If this incredibly frustrating winter ends up with Brennan @ No.1 in a wooden spoon side, Then I think a fair share of fans will blow a gasket tbh.
-
Spearhead of Lambert, Brennan and Lawson/Musielak thanks Mayfield. No disrespect to Danny King but he's not a Heat Leader anymore and he's on a highly inflated GSA after discount (6.50) for getting easy rides @ No.2 for the vast majority of last season.
-
I thought it was 7.00 but it's not.
-
If Mayfield have been bodied by Northampton for Robert Lambert then the backlash will be inevitable imo.
-
Being realistic. We'd have no chance of winning the League with Brennan @ No.1 and it's crucial to get regular Home wins just to keep fans somewhat satisfied so we'd need a 1-5 full of gaters with proven pedigree around Foxhall in order to do that. Riders like Klindt and Lawson tick both of those boxes.
-
I'd be concerned in regards to how fans will react as the season unfolds tbh. First impressions mean everything and finishing with the wooden spoon to start a new era may not go down too well with a some supporters.
-
I threw out Scott's name on here months ago and I think I got a reply saying it would be CHAMP conversion.
-
Just looked, Huckenbeck and Wozniak are only confirmed for 2 Leagues at the moment.
-
Thinking along lines of someone like Huckenbeck, Wozniak etc.
