  1. I'm not convinced by them now personally, I thought the would get away with having weak reserves pre-season with the jury being out on that but when you need a super heat to beat Birmingham then it's alarming tbh especially when take into account what happened tonight with Oxford not even needing Janowski to go a dozen points up at PB.
  2. My thought's exactly. Putting up 15+1 at reserve tonight and Brum still managed to be 12 points behind at one stage which says it all really.
  3. I wish Birmingham all the very best but they're in big trouble now, Losing Nicholls is massive as he's been a great signing.
  4. Brum are in big trouble once Nicholls departs tonight.
  5. Leicester like Sheffield don't have any reserves. Long season ahead for the Lions unless changes are made.
  6. Birmingham getting battered at Home to a weakened Oxford just proves how weak this years Sheffield team are considering they needed a super heat to beat them last week. Lots of value in the outright market that's worth grabbing whilst Sheffield will still be installed as title favourites.
  7. I don't even think they'll make the play-offs without a change or two tbh. Those reserves are just too weak for this years strong Premiership, They basically need a firing on all cylinders Chris Holder to compensate for the weak reserves and I just cant see it happening at his age.
  8. Early in the season but alarm bells were ringing at Birmingham when it comes to Sheffield. The team is unbalanced and it's going nowhere this season with those reserves, Gilkes has to get himself fixed up with a Championship club.
  9. Why on earth would the higher ups place Oxford to ride on a date where they wouldn't have a No.1?
  10. Ipswich will walk it imo, Jenkins @ 2 is beneficial because it gives Rew more rides at reserve plus the real Adam Ellis is back this season.
  11. Ipswich by 20+, Milik and Lampart will struggle.
  12. KL to win this by 10+, They've built a team of riders that are very strong around the AFA.
  13. Oh, I've already chucked the towel in on tonight's handicap lol.
  14. It is early but racking up L's against teams who aren't even fancied for the play-offs is a cause for concern imo. Home form alone won't see teams into the play-offs this year because almost everyone will go unbeaten at Home.
  15. Bad loss that bet. Not sure what to make of the Tigers this year now tbh, More than alarming to be 10 points down after 4 Heats to a Brummies side that's built way under the limit.
  16. SHEFFIELD -4.0 @ 10/11 and the Hcap Tie @ 10/1 This Handicap is a gift imo.
  17. Plymouth will go under if they sign Garrity, People will legit walk away and Plymouth cant afford that to happen. Unfortunately for them I don't see another option unless they want to sign a rider like Ben Morley and just accept getting battered every week with the threat of fans walking away. Worrying times for the Gladiators, Hope everything works out well for you.
  18. 5-4 on the night (Small Profit) Basically the Lidsey losses back from the Craven meeting. I'll take that considering it's always iffy early in the season due to rustiness and the weather. Hope you all had some winners tonight.
  19. Oxford will be a very dangerous side when Janowski gets dialled in. Wright and Bomber have hit the ground running.
  20. Tarasenko providing the only entertainment tonight. Watching the BSN streams last year as well as tonight and it seems to be a common occurrence that Leicester riders aren't happy with their home circuit.
  21. Aces are going to struggle away from the NSS this season, The engine room isn't anywhere near strong enough to contend this year imo. Witches would've won by at least 20 if Doyle was riding.
  22. I'm also chucking £6 on a TREBLE @ 13/2 (BELLE VUE, LEICESTER and OXFORD to win) I would've backed Ipswich but without Doyle I don't see how bet365 come up with the short price of 2/5 for them to win, Nicholls has to get 13+ to cover for Doyle therefore I feel like Belle Vue are worth chancing at 21/10. All of my bets are LOW STAKE bets tonight due to it being early in the season, Riders may need a few meetings to get back into the groove.
  23. IPSWICH v BELLE VUE DANNY KING OVER 9 @ 11/10 (Should get 5 rides tonight and he's riding with Rew instead of Ellis) LEICESTER v KING'S LYNN LEICESTER -4.0 @ 5/6 (I may look stupid by 9:45PM tonight but I don't see how KL get close to Leicester tonight considering the Lions have 4 track specialists in the 1-5) RICHARD LAWSON +1 vs. N K Iversen @ 1/1 (Lawson is being underrated here imo, His Home Average in 2023 was over 7.00 and that was riding as a HL, Now he's at No.2) SAM MASTERS OVER 8 @ 10/11 (Scored 14 & 9 as a No.1 around Leicester last year, After a few years as a No.1 in the Premiership he's now back riding in the engine room so he should have a good season starting from tonight) RYAN DOUGLAS OVER 9 @ 13/10 (Track specialist who wins races for fun around Leicester as proven in 2023) OXFORD v SHEFFIELD J. HOLDER UNDER 10 @ 6/5, C. HOLDER UNDER 7 @ 6/5 and T. WOFFINDEN UNDER 11 @ 1/1 (None of them have even done a lap around Oxford so they're bound to drop points, Fancy Championship D/UP's to take more than a fair share of points off the HL's tonight on both sides considering they've got more track knowledge around Oxford)
  24. Will be much closer now, BV to nick it in a last heat decider.
  25. Pawlicki isn't though which is a cause for concern.
