Combine the two and Leicester are better off. Sedgmen or Riss at reserve easily gets Double the amount of point than Kemp would. Then whoever's at 2 would only need to get 4 or 5 a meeting considering the numbers Masters is putting up.

Stars vs Aces - 11th April 2024
TTT replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I agree on that. The problem is NKI and MPT though. NKI is declining year on year and he's giving off Hans Andersen's final year vibes already after two poor performances in the easiest 1-5 race jacket. MPT hasn't had a good run of form at Premiership level since Peterborough's Dad's Army Title Triumph so it could be a case of one bad injury too many. -
Best wishes to Lewi Kerr. Oxford battled well to take it down to a last heat.
-
Defo when Kemp and JT cant outscore Edwards and Gilkes on their own circuit lol.

Nothing to do with rustiness if you're going to be honest. -
Birmingham have some serious competition for the wooden spoon unless changes are made at Leicester. Masters and Kemp out for Riss and Sedgmen is an easy decision.

NKI going down the Hans Andersen route. Not nice to witness seeing age finally catch up with a rider when you've watched them at their absolute best scoring double figures at No.1 on a regular basis. -

BV will be dynamite at Home but they could also be a team that struggles on the road imo. KL have built a team to finally win regularly around the AFA and I cant see past a Home win tonight, I cant see them losing at Home at all this season tbh. KL 47-43. -
Oxford are facing Ipswich at the wrong time imo. Ipswich have started well and they're getting race winners from every position in the side, Dan Thompson has started the season on fire. Magic and Klindt are still finding their feet this season so I can only see a narrow away win. Ipswich 47-43
-
The perfect match-up for the Lions to finally get some momentum going tonight. The Tigers have also built an unbalanced side with reserves that are struggling just as much as Leicester's so Kemp and Thompson really should be putting up some points tonight. 47 - 43 to Leicester.
-
Keeping it simple tonight. £20 on a 4/1 TREBLE -> King's Lynn, Leicester and Ipswich to win. King's Lynn shouldn't be losing at Home all season with a team that's been built to win big at the AFA on a consistent basis. Ipswich look very solid in every department imo, Jenkins also knows Oxford very well so I expect an improvement from him tonight, The spires have a couple of riders who have yet to fire (Magic and Klindt) and if that continues then there's only one winner tonight. Normally I wouldn't back Leicester but Sheffield's reserves are just as weak, Difference is you know that the Leicester 1-5 can all ride their own track where's doubts linger over how C. Holder will take to the Leicester circuit.
-
Massive credit to all the riders for getting 14 Heats done as well as all the track staff and co for even getting the meeting on. BV look rock solid at Home and they'll hand out more than a fair share of hammerings. Leicester need a double team change already if they're serious about making the play-offs this season, Cant have a weak reserve pairing like that and get away with it this season as the league is the strongest it's been in a good few years.
-
Defo the best value bet tonight even if it does fall just short imo. Put up 49 against Sheffield and that was with Kurtz and Bewley only scoring 11 points (Combined) with just the one Heat win between them which goes to show how strong this BV side is around the NSS.
-
BV -12.0 @ 21/20 and the Hcap Tie. I'm expecting a 16-18 point win for BV tonight, They're different gravy around the NSS to the point where they can get Heat Winners from any member of the side. BV only seem to be not as dominant around the NSS when it's one of those Bank Holiday Afternoon meetings. I'm also tempted by DOUGLAS on the OVERS but it all comes down to whether he gets Ht 15 or not and Dickson has been chucking Lawson into Ht 15's this season (Don't know why because the track changes with the Interval and the 4 Heats break)
-
Will get ugly for the Lions imo.
-
Yes considering they knew that the meeting wasn't going ahead because of the track conditions from last weeks weather.

LMAO! Put out social media posts just after 2:00 PM promoting tomorrow's meeting. Put out more social media posts just before 5:00 PM postponing tomorrow's meeting. This is one for Speedway Shambles on X/Twitter.

Could be a cricket score.

Lions v Witches knockout cup 1st April
TTT replied to Badge's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Someone in the top 5 would have to be sacrificed even though they've done nothing wrong due to the Numbers game. In order to give the team a better balance I'd bring in Riss for starters because he looked back to his old self in the Charles Wright meeting, 2023 can be brushed under the carpet imo because he clearly wasn't anywhere near fit enough to ride a bike. Then I'd look at one of the following two S. Lambert who always seems to do a decent job as a No.6 whenever KL snap him up or I'd look at bringing Sedgmen back even though he tailed off a bit towards the end of the last season because he was very good up until that point. Kemp's not cut out to carry Joe Thompson, He doesn't have the temperament for it imo, The toys go out of the pram when things don't go right so the Lions need an experienced No.6 who can put in consistent scores in order to compensate for Joe Thompson's 0 or 1 every night. -

Ipswich by at least 10 points.
