My team are just horrendously bad to a point where they can make any main body rider look like a world beater on any given night.

Laguta 8.00 TJ 6.34 (Likely out) / Pickering 5.92 (Injury could force an eleventh hour re-think) MPT 6.78 Jakobsen 6.76 Klindt 7.00 4.12 / 4.54 (Who would be available?) Edwards (RS)

Problem KL have is Picko's injury may not heal all season like MPT last year. Nowhere near fit and may not be 100% for the rest of the season, TJ is awful on the road so he should be making way in the team changes but KL maybe forced into sticking with him after tonight if Picko needs to take some extra time off. -

Decisions for KL to make on Monday, Does Picko survive the team changes now after aggravating his shoulder tonight? Clearly not even 50% fit. -

In-form Dougie is having a mare. Picko clearly nowhere near fit either. -
DAVID BELLEGO UNDER & EXACTLY 7 @ 6/5 & 9/2 Bang out of form and struggling to score points, Drew a blank in Sweden on Tuesday as well.

Me neither. Form issues, Fitness issues as well as the Gate 3 being a graveyard around Owlerton as the night goes on is just going to screw bets up imo. -
JASON DOYLE OVER 12 @ 5/6 (Has only dropped 2 points around Ipswich all season to away riders) Doyle's scores around Ipswich this season are the following () = Rides 14+1 (5) PAID MAX vs. Leicester in the KOC 13+1 (5) 13+1 (5) 11+1 (4) PAID MAX 11+1 (4) PAID MAX

In form Dougie in for the sacked KK is a massive plus for the Stars. If Picko hits the ground running then KL can win this meeting now considering Ellis and Bellego are out of form so far this season and Howarth might not be 100% fit going by Monday's showing at Leicester. -
If we did re-declare before Monday then this would be our team and the only guests who'd potentially be available on the night (Under Tungate's 6.59) would be Rew, Barker, Jorgensen, Pickering, Ellis, Bellego, Howarth and Kerr due to Wolves vs. BV also taking place. 1. NKI 2. B. Cook 3. Basso 4. R. Worrall (If fit) Guest or R/R (If not fit) 5. R/R or Guest 6. Tarasenko 7. JJ

Don't think the higher ups would allow us to get away with that tbh.
-
I think we should wait personally. Even though I've criticised him a lot this season, I think Hans has more than earned the right to be given a proper send off on the night by the Panthers fans in attendance considering he's never going to ride for Peterborough again. We're not going to beat Leicester with our team anyway even if we do re-declare because they're a class above us so we may as well wait until after Monday.
-
Depends on how desperate we are to get rid of Hans. Guest for Tungate up to 6.59 or wait and get a guest for Nicki up to 8.61 for the evening.

Probably why Buster released a statement today clarifying everything once and for all. I agree, Obviously he's our last hope to keep the club alive so we've got to keep him sweet but he's digging himself a hole now and all of the talk is finally starting to bite him on the a**e now. Saying nobody is available due to Poland and riders not wanting to ride in the UK and then Artem Laguta shows up down the A47 after all of the pre-season title challenge hype is only going to go down one way. I won't bad mouth the guy, But in future I'll just sit back and wait for things to actually be delivered instead of buying into everything he sells 24/7 as it's all gone horribly wrong so far.
-
I saw that, Didn't realise you was the person he offered the bet too though.
-
He may very well be, But in future I shall wait for the promises to be delivered first instead of jumping the gun by buying into everything because it's all backfired so far.
-
I'm not buying it, I fell for it the first time round buying into the Tomalin hype train and I'm not getting suckered in again. I can't make up excuse for Tomalin anymore because he's literally gone from promising the world all the way down to telling lies in regards to rider availability followed by having a go at any Panthers fan who dares to criticise the club. Talked us up like we're Manchester City in the winter who's going for trophies only for us to end up like Southampton.
-
What's Tomalin's excuse for not signing Laguta when he had a clear run at him? Instead all we got was a lie stating that nobody was available when they clearly were available. After all we were promised a title challenging side on a budget that's on par with BV.
-
If Buster was paying for Laguta at KL then he would've been a Panther weeks ago so the statement makes complete sense tbh, 0% chance Laguta would've been at KL if Buster was covering the wage bill at both clubs because it's not how he operates, I've been wrong on a lot of things on this forum but this isn't one of them, A leopard never changes it spots as the saying goes so Buster wouldn't burn a whole in his pocket just to finish in 5th and 6th place respectively. Also Rob Lyon would've quit on the spot if Buster was paying for Laguta considering Rob has been very vocal about getting the No.1 situation resolved, No way would he stand for Buster signing a No.1 for KL to replace an out of form Klindt or KK when Panthers don't even have a No.1 to replace. Tomalin on the other hand has promised a lot of things and so far he's delivered none of it, All he's done is the following. Made promises / statements he can't back up varying from title challenging team, budget similar to BV etc. Had a fall out with Buster over Holder when he worked out a deal with him without consulting Buster first. Talked down to some fans when they started to question our losing streak after everything turned sour. Told a straight up lie about riders / No.1's not wanting to ride in the UK due to various reasons when he's had a clear run at both Matej Zagar and Artem Laguta Now we've got rumours about Tomalin not making payments. Track record here is alarming.
-
We was going to be on a budget on par with BV though, Got to ask ourselves where the Nicki P money has gone?
-
I agree, If only Buster would've clarified everything sooner then I wouldn't have pointed the finger at him so much. Problem is we don't get communication at Peterborough from the management unless it's from Tomalin on facebook, So it's an easy trap to get suckered into when he's telling us everything that we want to hear.
-
Clear as day that Buster isn't the problem now though and I was one of his biggest critics tbh. Tomalin put on facebook that a No.1 wasn't available due to Poland as well as not being interested in the UK.........That was a straight up lie. We could've had Laguta or at worst Zagar signed, sealed and delivered if he stuck to his promises, Basically this whole Nicki P situation could've been resolved weeks ago if Tomalin walked the walked instead of just talking the talk, Instead we plodded on with R/R and riders like Jakobsen guesting at No.1. Basically everything what Bald Bloke and numerous other KL fans have said for weeks in regards to Tomalin has been 100% factual.
-
Interesting, Explains why Laguta is heading to KL now, Knew Buster wouldn't be paying for him as well as covering the wage bill at Panthers because it goes against everything he stands for when running his business. Also tells me Laguta has been available for a while and that Tomalin just didn't want to put up the cash weeks ago for him but Alex Brady is prepared to spend big on the former World Champion. Fair play to Buster for communicating with the fans.

DELETED just saw the statement on KL's website.

Before the ban on Russian's Tarasenko rode in the 1st league of Polish Speedway for Bydgoszcz and Krosno in his final two years before the ban he finished 5th in (2020) and then 3rd (2021) in the overall league averages before making the jump to Ekstraliga Speedway. In his three meetings for Grudziadz this season he's scored 6, 7+1 and 7+3 so he shouldn't have any problems over here when it comes to scoring points.
