They do that at Oxford already tractor and water bowser come out do several laps then driver jumps out of bowser and tractor driver jumps in then proceeds to do a few more laps. Very entertaining

Oxford vs Berwick - Champ - 5th July
Toady replied to Bojangles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
No not at all they put up a good fight but we’re overwhelmed later as was pointed out especially in a breathtaking heat 13 when Nichols and masters went either side of Rory a special mention for Cameron Heeps who in my opinion had his best meeting in long time and was made to work for it. -

Obviously hit a nerve then! Other threads are for everyone to read not just yourself( you seem to pop up everywhere)recalling all our yesterdays nothing of relevance for today . if you say something then others read it and some also remember what you say even if you don’t -

You do talk Cobblers the problem is with people like you despite living close to Scunthorpe speedway you have never been yet recognise the good stuff on couple of clips that another poster put up on this forum. You are not interested in today’s speedway as you have clearly stated previously.Perhaps you should stick to recalling the good old days when everything was perfect. -
Agreed with more venues in the firing line and even those in the middle of countryside can soon be swallowed up so people I suggest you enjoy what you have now as it could soon be gone
-
Elaborate please.

It’s the happy clappers that are the lifeblood of all clubs as they pay the wages after all.No happy clappers no speedway

Where have you been, No longer enough stadia, riders or promoters and fans like you for any of that. The term shoe repairers comes to mind -

All the usual suspects I expect -
There is no harm in ambition but the changes that have to paid for and you fans need to support the promotion and team before it’s to. Late imo

Oxford v Poole 21/6/23 Championship.
Toady replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
A few years ago I would have disagreed with that but now with the few teams that remain the crowd levels I think it’s the best from what I have seen but will there be enough rider of that std to go round? -
Oxford v Poole 21/6/23 Championship.

My issue is riders of novice std missing league or other domestic meetings not with riding abroad per say.just to be clear -
Oxford v Poole 21/6/23 Championship.
Toady replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Yeh for sure but the riders Iam referring to are novices who when put in to a champ team struggle to beat their opposites and missing domestic fixtures just to race against others of similar std does nothing for them other than cost money and I’ve witnessed a couple of said riders this season a couldn’t beat an egg .Someone mentioned Gordon Kennett would I be correct in thinking he was already a proven performer hl before going down under in the close season with no loss to domestic speedway -

Toady replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I agree these riders would benefit from improving in our leagues rather than heading overseas in Micky mouse international tournaments invented often to the detriment of domestic racing before they are able to hold there own in our lower leagues -
