Sheffield Tigers 2025

100% that, one 4-5 week period of heat leader form the rest pretty inconsistent. Up until August there was nothing average wise between Pickering and Howarth, so shows there was a massive increase in form just needs that to be the standard now -

Agree that Howarth better Owlerton than Rowe. Will take Rowe quite a few meetings to get to grips with the different lines and see if he has what it takes to ride it up high especially coming off bend 2. Gilkes good if gates, awful if not continues to ride the one line he knows especially at home, no loss in my eyes. Flint is the one that has to turn up and finally show he’s not just another who talks the talk -

The ‘it’s all about me’ from Woffinden, same pre and post injury. Difference is this season is he won’t be calling the captain of the team out with being good buddies with him -
If throwing money around arcades might as well be Madsen with him not have SGP in 2025

That’s the Oxford Championship team, he’s at King’s Lynn in 2025 as their Rising Star -

If Schlein is quitting then that’s going to impact Oxford Spires then as he agreed terms with them for Premiership spot -

Danyon Hume didn’t ride in Premiership in 2024, so could they use his 2024 Championship average of 4.99? If that was converted and with British reduction that comes to 3.26 that’s if I’ve put correct numbers in my calculator 😂 -
Was mentioned at the Sheffield STAARS meeting on Thursday that they would have preference over Anders Rowe when racing Poole in the KO Cup, obviously confirms his Championship team before it’s announced by them 🙈

He was offered a deal by Oxford end of last season on better money than he was on at Sheffield, knowing what Sheffield have left points wise he could be playing them to get best deal for him -
Only goes down by 2.5% British reduction, the 25% is if you are no longer eligible for RS berth

Know Zaine Kennedy back for Scunny and rode for Sheffield in 2018/19 but unsure what he’d come in on as finished 2022 with Championship average of 4.22 -

Has Scott Nicholls had the operation on his shoulder he injured at end of last season yet? If not he’ll be up against it to be fit and ready for start of 2025 season. -

Cook definitely wasn’t the first name on Dickson’s list for the number 6 berth, again can’t see him lasting a full season as a Leicester rider. -

There’ll be no shocks and surprises, the remaining 6 will be what everyone already knows -
Haven’t looked back at all the thread to be honest, just came up in a conversation

Rew’s at Birmingham in 2025 -
Masters 100% at Leicester and same with Schlein at Oxford.
-
No Lindgren for Birmingham in 2025, Musielak and Zagar 100% at Birmingham as 1 and 5, with Rew coming in a la a new addition to the side. Heard last week that Schlein is back in Premiership but on his way to Oxford

Have to look at Rowe’s 2024 average with a pinch of salt as all but two meetings he rode at number 7 as the Rising Star, whereas this season he’ll be at number 2 for at least the first two months and then reliant on either Gilkes or Flint upping their averages massively from 2024. -

You could say save at Sheffield with Holder bros, well below average when it mattered in second leg. At least with Fricke he rides with his team partner and not against like seen with with Holder when racing against Howarth and not protecting him, Fricke a helluva better team player than a lot of number ones
