  1. Can’t disagree with that reply! Pretty much true.
  2. And you think Poland don’t have issues with money? Yet they still come to Manchester which is a much more expensive trip than English people to travel to Poland. English people find money to go on holidays and football matches and even Manchester GP so if they really wanted to they could save and go. Enough* said.
  3. I agree he was never going to make that pass stick and it was bad judgment to try, but I was happy as a witches fan to finally see him mix it again and get a decent win and a few good second places. When he won, he came right past us with our Ipswich scarfs waving and nodded so he knew he had some support at least! Lastly, I’ve been to Gorzow GP the last three years and this year was noticeable that hardly any English fans bothered travelling. I remember seeing lots of Leicester and Sheffield fans with their tops last year but only saw two families with Bewley and that’s it. It’s easy to say that the stadium was a smaller crowd but when other countries fans don’t turn up either it does show. Even very small lindgren and danish fans to my shock. I only heard a lot of German (probably due to how close). I wonder why even foreign fans aren’t travelling anymore?
  4. I few comments on here not true… Zmarzlik had no issue with Kurtz winning and greeted him multiple times smiling and celebrating with him. Zmarzlik also celebrated with the home fans many time (probably off live TV) after the meeting and was smiling and laughing with Kurtz and Bewley. The only thing I noticed that he has changed is that he rides harder now and more aggressive and maybe because he realises someone is really trying to take his crown. All in all, tonight for me had everything, the atmosphere will never be beaten when you come to Poland, the weather was perfect and the racing was great… not gate and go and some good moves. Not many BV fans on here regarding the SGP this week I noticed. Gorzow will remain on the calendar but only give one to Manchester and maybe another goes to Poland, somewhere new. The comments about empty seats… there were many in the lower tier due to people in Gorzow and Toruń liking to stand under the upper tier with a beer or two and not sit down, although granted, still deffo not a sell out and 3,000 short I would assume.
  5. If anyone is interested, added the vaculik crash from my view at the stadium. Thought I’d video some races and caught this one.
  6. Not a failure. This year is the first time it hasn’t sold out and I’m not repeating myself again to say why, check the thread beforehand. In comparison, SGP ticket here was £55. The next Stał home meeting against Wroclaw next week I’m attending is £12. People aren’t interested in super inflated prices, Warsaw didn’t sell out either FYI.
  7. From what I can see stadium is almost full everywhere but some seats bend 3/4. Still sitting at about 12000+ I’d say.
  8. Reserve will be out next as vaculik is now removed from the comp.
  9. That’s given Rybnik a boost to the relegation battle is vaculik is out for a long time dammit!
  10. If anyone actually cared to read this you might know why.
  11. It was either Sarah desert or Sahara dessert 🍨 😂
  12. So hot today they got the track prep ok for the free practise then all wrong for qualifiers with too much water and then Sarah desert for the spring race! Lovely day for it though! Gorzow over Manchester for me always. Speedway city and the atmosphere around the place is like a speedway party 👏🏻 whether the racing is as good, probably not, but I’d rather spend my money here than Manchester!
  13. Track is perfect. Some good racing to come tonight hopefully with more grip than usual put down. Such a hot day as well sitting at 29 degrees with a breeze.
  14. Your facts are embarrassing. He won us the cup a couple years ago.
  15. When Pedersen went home Rybnik were better 😂
  16. No, he has had mental illness he has fought against in the past and he isn’t the ‘norm’ shall we say.
  17. Yeah the guarantee must be decent. Don’t have a clue what it is or what he is on per point. I’d assume if he drops a league and picks up 8 points a meeting he wouldn’t be far off what he is on now when not riding though?
  18. They have too many riders so they rotate every match pretty much. Same reason holder isn’t riding tonight.
  19. He turned up and tried at the meeting though didn’t he. Unlike Kurtz who decided to not bother coming and at least try. Also, Doyle has been in the pits every-time he hasn’t rode. I know you don’t have many facts to back up any of your claims. I have one fact though… Belle Vue won’t be in the cup final again thanks to Ipswich I’d say Leicester, Sheffield and Ipswich all have better odds currently to win the title than Belle Vue going on performances. As I write this Kurtz won his second race by a mile 😂
  20. By a mile. The guy must be in severe pain though 😉 I’d choose to prioritise Wroclaw and SGP than BV as well though to be fair. They ain’t picking up any trophy this year.
  21. The sun certainly ain’t shining in Belle Vue. You spent all your money on x2 grand prixs and half your fans don’t even turn up until September 😂 oh sorry neither does your captain 😂
  22. Nab he didn’t. He isn’t saving himself for individual success. If he can ride for his team he would. He takes his club commitments seriously. Just turned on Eleven sport to see Kurtz lined up for Wroclaw less than 24 hrs after Belle Vue got destroyed.
