Id have to agree that the GP should be staged there next year. It does have the best look and feel for a British SGP. Would Glasgow ever get considered? Never been nor watched any racing but I know they are holding the SGP2 qualification there… what’s the size of it in regards to attendance? Go to YouTube on Ipswich speedway or British speedway just uploaded it (Adam Ellis and Thompson 5-1) and forward to 2:00 mark and they pan around the stadium.

If you read another post you would have seen I said I can’t make it as I’m in Ipswich, on a Monday that’s almost an impossible task when you work Monday / Tuesday, Belle Vue is an amazing track, just totally out the way for people down south on a Monday night. Then you have to rely on the locals filling the stadium.

Well according to your post even when people know about it they can’t afford to go because you have to go to SGP 😂!

Granted they would pay for the Grand Prix but it’s only another £25 or whatever to watch the British final. It’s not a massive amount to experience another meeting. Totally agree with it being held somewhere else though. Needs to be more central for all fans. Not just for the north west speedway fans. This is when it would be perfect to have a new stadium for Coventry Bees to hold it!

If I were a Belle Vue fan I’d be embarrassed slightly. Bewley is going for x4 times and you can’t make the effort. I promise you if I had Grand Prix and British speedway at foxhall (would never happen!) I’d be at both and all league meetings… the feeling of being at a speedway event is brilliant. Manchester stuck up as far as possible for any witches fans to make the journey on a Monday!

Belle Vue fans had enough of too much speedway at NSS tells you it deffo needs to a new home next year even if it’s just for a one off. Crowd will be poor tonight and not a great look when you are on TNT… same as Lynn. Hoping for a really good night of racing !

My money is on Thompson to cause an upset, not perhaps win, but could knock one of the GP boys out of the semi run off... I seem to remember one of them missed it last year... ant it wasn't the home favourite!

More interesting hearing Picko say they have a best 1-7 in the league. Not sure any other 6 at the moment stands up to Thompson! Having said that, I could see them beating us in the next meeting. They are dominant at home and our boys don’t ride the best there.

People do love a moan. The track wasn’t perfect but neither is any. Yes it was dry, but so is every other Polish track when it kicks up dust in the summer. I saw comments about how British riders needs to learn from Gorzów vs Falubaz at the weekend as it was soaking wet but they still rode, now we have a dry track and people moan…professionals still know how to ride it and as for entertainment, it was entertaining, Lynn would have been happy with the track if they won, but they fell off and got beat. Deal with it.

Klindt jumped that heat for sure as I was sitting in the stand and in line with it, I think they let the race go for two long before calling it. I would have to agree with you on Brennan situation, that would never had been all four back in Poland. If you fall on your own it’s your bad luck!

Worst comment on this thread, this was the best meeting at Foxhall, maybe not purely for racing but the fact more people come and provide an actual atmosphere makes daytime meetings superior! I’d rather another day time meeting over a Thursday with that crowd any day.

Sun is trying to make an appearance, at 13:30 it’s due to be clearer skies but still remain windy. I’d suggest brining a coat as it’s pretty cold out! Especially if you sit up in the stand where the wind hits you hard.

I must say, first time I’ve logged into BV TV as a witches fan, this is a highly impressive set with even the laps and time intervals. This is the best I’ve come across and even better than BSN. Kudos to the BV team who set this up!

When Miskowiak rides in Gorzów he will get a welcome of whistles im sure! Riding great this season for his team though!

Gorzów stadium is normally full on derby day but ‘only’ sold 10,800 or so tickets. Stadium holds 15k. Gorzów fans are still angry at the previous running of the club last year so didn’t turn out in full numbers and I was surprised to see only one banner from Stał and Zero from Falubaz for the rivalry. Good racing, track just about held out, throughout the entire meeting the track wasn’t touched once in all the breaks, although Anders rung the ref to tell him before heat two the track isn’t good for the junior to race.

I think Belle Vue will beat Sheffield at NSS, specially with Bewley and Kurtz performing well last night (tonight at Grudziadz will be interesting). It might be a different story when they return to Sheffield where I believe Sheffield will return the favour! Either way, this will be the best match up in the league for the top boys so far!

Weather forecast shows clouds clearing out at 14:00 but higher winds than normal, hopefully it turns out to be a nice day!
