Totally agree with you mate, as your comments were made with the injuries established, even with a full side it would have been tough for us, we would have won at home I think but by enough? Spot on with your comments on Tungate as well, take him away from the NSS hes decidedly average. Wouldn't be so bad if there was any racing its absolute dire.

Congratulations to the Comets a great fightback, I hope you go on to win the double. -
I said as soon as Bellego was announced bad choice and that's how it turned out very poor, Berge too who was brought in for his home form never turned up, I predicted an away win but to go from 10 up to an 8 point defeat was a total capitulation. I agree with Phil The Ace a total clearout is needed the nucleus of this side have failed at the business end of every season, also not impressed with lemon overall as some of his decisions over the season leave a lot to be desired. Fricke and Etheridge the two who can hold their heads up to be fair Tungate did put in some effort though. It could have been worse Lambert and NKI could have got dialled in from the start. Congratulations to the Stars best of luck in the final, next week is now a dead rubber, might as well concentrate on the Poole v Somerset meeting.

A good meeting with some excellent racing, we could have pulled this back and can point to a couple of instances like Covatti beating Tungate and Lawson nicking 2nd in heat 14 but the tie is run over 30 heats and yet again we failed in the away leg. Congratulations to Somerset you cant take anything away from them. As for the obsession with crowd sizes if we were still at Kirky Lane it would probably look a decent crowd, in the wide open spaces of the NSS it looks poor. Monday should be far better and next season get away from Monday nights and i think that will result in an increase.

I said I thought the Rebels would come up short over the two legs but was expecting them to at least take a 6 to 8 point lead into the second leg, never been a fan of Lawson, tonight showed why, a big disappointment on his home track, not great returns from Holder or Allen either. It was a good meeting with some good racing, especially Doyle. Riders were saying it was a bit slicker than usual, did that catch the home side out a bit? Taking the home leg first was a bit of a gamble and it didn't pay off, I can see a comfy home win for Poole in the second leg.

The hypocrisy is staggering, and no BV didn't sack Riss, Some real saddos on the south coast.

No but you never give it credit and that speaks volumes the truth certainly hurts when it comes to the NSS and especially if you are called starman

The truth being the NSS is by far the best track in this country and is fast becoming one of the best in the world. Fact. Such bitterness. We had a legendary circuit at Hyde Road and then had to spend 20+ seasons at Kirky Lane so we have experienced both ends of the scale.

Malcolm Simmons was a great stylish rider who also wasn't afraid to tell it as it was, really used to look forward to seeing Simmo race.
