James Buckley (Jay from The Inbetweeners) likes his sports and has recently got interested, and now involved, in British Ice Hockey. His podcast that he does with his wife now sponsors Chelmsford Chieftains who have reported an increase in attendances due to his involvement. What better way to try and promote the sport than getting him involved? Get him to do the draw, promote the sport and invite him to some meetings, with no better publicity than him talking about it on his podcast?! We need to be targeting the younger market FFS. Whoever signed off on Linda Lusardi wants firing. Talk about living in the past.

Pete Adams told SS a few months back he wants back in now that resurrecting Wolverhampton does not look likely at the moment. I think he still has plenty to offer and would be incredibly excited if I was an Ipswich fan if he ends up being confirmed. With regards to Tai, he has said that nobody from the UK has been in touch. Whether that has now changed only time will tell. But given Pete is like a second father to him, if he comes calling I don't think Tai would say no.

His propensity to pull up, sorry QUIT, while last is why there will always be question marks over his attitude.

Don't be so negative. All parties want the 'i's dotted and the 't's crossed before any announcement, as is the way with most business transactions. Patience.

Why can't people wait? British Speedway is currently in a better place for '26 than it looked a few weeks back. We know there will be a Premiership, we already have riders confirmed. We know there will be a Championship, with some teams having already announced their full line-ups. IMO 'parlous' is going too far. Too may on here seem to feel they have a right to know information immediately, and are still being negative even though their teams will actually be racing in '26. It comes across as incredibly ungrateful, this from a person that hasn't watched his team compete competitively for 20 years. I'd love to be able to regularly watch my team.

Are people that entitled and feel that privileged that they HAVE to know something immediately? I know how it feels for your team not to come to tapes so spare me that line...

The meeting only happened yesterday and yet so many are complaining that no information has been released yet. Unfortunately we live in an age where you can find out anything on your phone within seconds and people now think that applies to everything in life. FFS, nobody has any patience anymore. Given how important the meeting was it's going to take a little while to collate everything together. When they want you to know what happened, then you'll find out.
