  1. He did go to see if Jake was okay. He just did another lap around the track instead of turning back. You could see what Jake's intentions were straight away when he refused the lift back to the pits from Luke Killeen.
  2. Don’t be daft. Completely accidental from Wright. Just one of those things that happens from time to time.
  3. The same old rubbish from you...blah, blah blah...nothing to back it up. Go and spout your negativity elsewhere.
  4. He can't, because there isn't any. As you said, spouted the same BS on the Wimbledon thread. Was asked time and again to tell us what proof he had and the silence was deafening.
  5. Believe me, Beau Bailey will be Australia's next big thing. Massive talent. Showed plenty of mental strength in the SGP3 final to get a medal after crashing in his first heat. And most important of all, he is properly rapid.
  6. I'm sure if he saw someone discussing his height, he would be absolutely fine with it. Nobody spoke in a derogatory manner about 'body image'. Don't go looking for trouble when there isn't any...
  7. I thought it was the best meeting that BSN have shown so far this year. Great racing. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
  8. His interview on BSN spoke volumes. He seems a little shell shocked that he isn’t scoring better. Perhaps he thought every meeting would be like his Pirates debut. A lot of hype around him…in one sense justified…in others it’s still very early days. Time will tell. For what it’s worth, there’s another young man who I believe is a better prospect. Likes the colours orange and black and also tassels! 😉 At least the future of British speedway looks very bright with the two of them doing their thing.
  9. Yes they do. And there was at least 1200 there so all good.
  10. Just watched back the highlights. Clearly way more than 30 on three and four. And big crowd standing in front of stand as well as those inside.
  11. Not sure what you were watching. Healthy crowd in the stand, healthier standing in front of it, and quite a few on bends three and four. But yes, there should be one league. Five riders in each team like Denmark, rider grading needs to be introduced.
  12. I'm guessing we aren't far off from what we have been chatting about on here?
  13. The statue looks great. Was there any further information given to the potential new site?
  14. Did anybody attend the Ronnie Moore statue unveiling and event on Saturday? Unfortunately I couldn't due to a long standing family commitment which was gutting for me. I'd heard that there was going to be some additional information given about the potential new site. Did that happen?
  15. Again, making ridiculous comments with no proof to back it up. Come on font of all knowledge, tell us how you know for absolute certain that Coventry, and now Wimbledon, do not have the money. You keep making the comments. Back it up. I’ll wait… Only one person living in a fantasy land here…do you need help telling you who that is?!! 🤦🏻‍♂️
  16. That’s not what you have been saying. You have said that the Coventry backers have no money to begin with. With you being so confident about this, as has already been asked, provide your proof. Oh wait, you have none…🤦🏻‍♂️
  17. Would love to see Parnitskyi racing over here. Huge talent who would really attack the UK tracks. Unfortunately I can’t see it happening with his Polish, Swedish and Danish commitments.
  18. You really are talking utter nonsense. Firstly, Wimbledon weren’t struggling after re-opening in ‘02. Where are you getting that from? Secondly, conveniently you have ignored my question of how you know those behind the proposed return at Coventry have no money. If you are going to make comments, either back it up or don’t make such accusations. Thirdly, as already proved to you, a businessman did touch speedway by bringing back Oxford and making it a success. Just look at the crowds they are getting. Way more than “half a dozen supporters”. It really is a shame that not only are you incredibly negative towards any new venue opening, but actually dead against any form of growth for the sport in the UK. And you’ll make up lies just to try and prove your spurious point. Bizarre.
  19. It still shocks me that people expect or feel entitled to be given immediate information on such matters straight away. It should remain private and confidential as long as those in charge want it to be. When the time is right, you’ll get your answers. And to those that say “Well I am the paying public, they take my money so I have a right to know.” Well, if your local shop that is family owned suddenly closes for the day and puts up a sign saying ‘Closed temporarily due to unforeseen circumstances’, are you going to bang on the door or phone them up demanding to know why just because you spend money in there?! No, didn’t think so. This should be no different.
  20. Maybe Ben knows what’s coming. For what it’s worth, I think we need one big league, which at the moment looks like it will be 14 teams. Should be five riders per team like Denmark. And there should be rider grading.
  21. Well, asking you to cheer up obviously didn’t happen did it? 🤦🏻‍♂️ The potential for Wimbledon returning is completely different to the situation they faced back in 2005. Also, I find it fascinating that you are fully aware of the finances and backing of the team trying to bring Coventry back. Are you their accountant gone rogue and are here anonymously, as you seem very certain that they “don’t have the money. They have NO chance” ??? Please, enlighten us all of why you are so certain. I’d love to see the proof. 🤷🏻‍♂️
