  1. Depends what independent judicial review actually means. It sounds very grand but unlikely to be a FIFA type investigation.
  2. At the moment it would seem but both have been generally ok up the the events of this season. There was a lot of clapping.
  3. That's correct and I have said the same but when the advice is allegedly to break the rules (if they were broken) and take the hit then there is no right here anyway.
  4. That's true. Tonsilitis would probably not stop you riding a speedway bike if you wanted to unless really severe, whereas you'd probably not feel like going out for a meal or making a 20 hour flight? The absence of Panthers’ number one Jack Holder for the second leg of their semi-final triumph and both legs of the final has been a major talking point in the sport. Holder has returned to his native Australia after being signed off with tonsilitis and Johnson admits it is a shame the 21 year-old couldn’t be part of the success. Holder also missed the club’s Fours victory back in August while racing in Poland. But another rider who has been laid low with illness - second-string Bradley Wilson-Dean - did return last night. And his involvement was valuable despite the fact he failed to score. “Jack has been signed off with a sicknote. Where he is, or why he is there, is not really my concern,” added Johnson. “My focus was on the team - just as it has been all year with different things going on in the background - and the job of winning the KO Cup. “Jack has been excellent this season and we would obviously have liked him in the side, but he wasn’t available due to illness and we have to accept that. “Jack could have stayed and supported the boys, but he has chosen to go back to Australia and unfortunately missed out on a great night. peterboroughtoday/speedway/panthers/more-ko-cup-final-reaction-witches-were-unlucky-says-panthers-team-boss 27/10/17
  5. It's a case of “All right, let’s start with the basics. English is a non-inflected, Indo-European language derived from…”
  6. Whilst I agree fully with the premise I think that there is more chance of finding rockin' horse droppings (as our outgoing promoter once said about the prospect of winning at Swindon before we did) unless we get new owners which is just as unlikely. Lakeside is a pretty bad selling point as well. A horrible place to visit and virtually always awful visitors.
  7. Almost the same as what this post said: Dan‏ @DanW400 33m33 minutes ago -How on earth did Ulrich lose to Mountain?
  8. I accept nothing from a man who imprisons his guests in a commode. Please accept my a-po'-lo'-gies for the joke. I think that only me and Hodgy will get it
  9. It'd bring the PC police down like a ton of bricks and is probably a sacking offence these days.
  10. Bit irrelevant to Panthers 2018 because if we're here then he'll not be anywhere near the place if they've got any sense.
  11. That's true. There's also a difference between explaining it as such and just letting the misinformation keep on coming.
  12. TEAMS IPSWICH: Danny King, Rider replacement for Justin Sedgmen, Cameron Heeps, Kyle Newman, Scott Nicholls (guest), Nathan Greaves, Connor Mountain. Peterborough have called in Redcar man Ben Barker to guest at number one in place of the ill Jack Holder PETERBOROUGH: Ben Barker (guest), Bradley Wilson-Dean, Paul Starke, Ulrich Ostergaard, Chris Harris, Simon Lambert, Jack Parkinson-Blackburn (guest).
  13. So did everyone else. They just chose to bugger about instead of confirming it.
  14. Firstly because the actions surrounding him have caused this mess and could potentially close the club and secondly the continuing misinformation about him just perpetuates the negativity. As for the person mentioned, only the happy clappers perhaps give a whatever, I don't think anyone else does!
  15. Not sure about the tone but interesting points none the less!
  16. I think I've spotted the flaw in your post already
  17. These days it seems to break most promoters within a few years who aren't Rick Frost so that should give you a ballpark figure, I'd say anyone thinking about it needs to have 100k in the bank as a safety net to even think about it?
  18. Just await the press release stating a productive meeting with positive ideas to take the sport forward - same time next year lads, carry on regardless and don't worry about the press release it's the standard template and we just edit it a bit and change the date each year!
  19. If you're posting what you've been fed then of course you're not making it up. Whether I agree with it or not is a dfferent matter. I've had some very messy exchanges on here with much better quality opposition (no disrespect) and I've no desire to get into a lower tier slanging match on the issue.
  20. Can you smell that? What is that? Sheep is it? It's cows? No, no, I know what it is: It's........!
  21. Got to be more to this than meets the eye because it's easier to just say than feed all the negativity that the club dislikes? It could have been nipped in the bud long ago
