  1. I'm not annoyed. We've been riding our luck and got found out at a vital time, as we did in the league. It had some of those elements you describe but I think that superb is pushing it a bit. Liked by Humpty and Dumpty of course but it was more fun for them.
  2. I would say that I don't take sides particularly which irritates people who want to stick the home fan tag on me. If I thought that they did it then I'd say so, so yes you do see what you want to see.
  3. People do get a bee in there bonnet about the starts. The staff there do the same thing week in week out. I doubt that they have any idea who's in which gates before the riders roll up so the thought of fixing the starts is quite comical. Did you see any of them looking at and discussing a programme or do you think matey was getting secret instructions through his bluetooth (that's a communication device, not a mouth infection).
  4. Never heard of Jack Woohaa Facebook? And you call yourself a speedway fan
  5. Facebook on Tuesday said "Jack hasn't booked a flight yet" so you're wrong or someone else booked the flight in which case Holder wouldn't have!
  6. That's the beauty of second tier speedway, 6 man teams dressed up as seven with a party being thrown if your reserve is trying and within 20 yards of 3rd when scoring 0. Sometimes you get lucky but it's the exception rather than the norm.
  7. Be able to clarify today though whether Holder & BWD will be fit for the Ippo leg on Thursday.
  8. If that is the case then how come it's happened and why isn't there any evidence. Someone must have seen something or someone let their guard down. All we've got is jack so to speak. If it's not a viral throat infection then Tarzan can interview him tomorrow, I'm sure that he'll be there with BWD supporting the boys?
  9. Viruses burn themselves out and don't need injections so what's the diagnosis.
  10. Don't hold back Rodders say what you mean. The bit I'd like to know is where "woohaa" to use a Tarzanism really is?
  11. Depends what your objective is. Harris will score good points but you'd still need a no1 and that will decide about the other two. If Rathbone stays, and in this league, then you'd guess that he'd fit Ostrich in regardless because of his ties with him. Lambert is the luxury that could be the problem. We knew that he'd do what he's doing now as soon as he dropped to reserve but he's a yo-yo rider and we've played the "we'll always have a strong reserve" card a few times now, much like strength in depth. Neither seem to work for us.
  12. Jeez! Wouldn't go anywhere near that. The only one that I thought I'd put myself out to watch as he'd get near those heady heights was Sayfutdinov, and he only rode it once I think. Still don't get Holder being naff last week. But for an e/f he would have been on paid 6 and no doubt added to that in 2 or 3 subsequent rides without the bike problem?
  13. Fair point but the real prize was the play-offs and hopefully better. Panthers fell short of that and that's where much of the criticism of Ostrich came from.
  14. Not forgetting sacked and re-signed 24 hours later after declaring then undeclaring his love for Poole I just turn up these days if able and moan a bit (ok moan a lot). It's not that much fun anymore tbh, especially in the lower northern league. I think no would be the answer to the second bit but there being a next season is more of a concern as we hit the all too regular Panthers will we won't we part of the season. If we run then we'll deal with the who at that point.
  15. Think that you need to refresh yourself of the 2008/09 goings on with Zabik. He would have bought many a promotion to its knees, fortunately we had wads RF in post.
  16. I agree the first part but you are a bit wet so we'll disagree on that one. It was a question btw.
  17. Really? The outcome of events is a disaster but up until August everything was fine wasn't it. If he's been reading your posts, and others (probably some of mine as well) then he's probably thought stuff this for a living. For starters, Holder is not fit to fit Zabik's steel shoe when it comes to being a pain. Batchelor close behind but heads the Aussie contingent.
  18. How true! Just checked and there's Jack on there (excuse the pun) so if there is a next time when Tarzan says to keep an eye on the club website then we can all shout back: Why?
  19. So what is the point of a club website? How can that be? You must have misunderstood. FINAL PUSH peterboroughpanthers.co/news Thursday October 19, 2017 PETERBOROUGH: Jack Holder, Rider replacement for Bradley Wilson-Dean, Paul Starke, Ulrich Ostergaard, Chris Harris, Simon Lambert, Ben Hopwood (guest).
  20. It would be interesting to know the thinking around heat 15 and who took which gates. Hancock in gate one and you'd probably been on gruel for the rest of your life! All worth a 2nd look anyway: Heat 14 - Heat 15
  21. Nothing new Rodders. Same in 2007/08, 2010, 2013/14 and now 2017. We've never been forgiven for this: Heat 13: ANDERSEN, Hancock, Hall, McGowan 7-2 38-43 Heat 14: Re-run Sullivan, Hall, Gjedde 5-1 43-44 Heat 15: Sullivan, Andersen, Hancock, Kolodziej 5-1 48-45 Peterborough vs Reading EL final 2nd leg 09/10/06 (updates)
