Same old? Don't know most or where they came from - most of the same old are nowhere to be seen these days. These are a new breed of second tier moaners The hardcore would turn up on the whole to keep the wheels ticking over but there are less of them nowdays, speedway isn't attracting new fans to replace those hardcore who no longer attend for whatever reason and people have many more options to spend there pennies on these days. The race to the bottom that has been going on for years has just been dressed up as a restructure. It would have been easier to efficiently run the existing system but that's another story: "Promoters feel this dramatic revamp was necessary in a financially challenging climate – and whilst chairman Keith Chapman admits there is an element of cost cutting there is plenty for fans and sponsors to be excited about." I can't say that there's too much excitement about, and British Speedway has less relevance and identity now than I can ever remember. Riders and clubs have their own agenda and priorities. Riders can usually get to where they really want to be, as has been shown enough times.

I thought that it looked well wet, hence why it didn't take long to flood once the rain started. That was a deluge though to be fair.
