  1. Is this the Panthers v Scunthorpe thread? Seems to have morhped into a pile of cack, which ironically is much like the overall entertainment package last night.
  2. They tried, but when Ostrich and Cook are riding a metre from the fence then you know where the quickest route is.
  3. Plenty of track prep getting the dust back in place and watered, along with copious invisible tedious interviews - enjoy
  4. Common sense was turning right out of the pits and not testing whether anyone else has any. Apart from his usual gate 4 heat 1 struggle he did what was asked of him and busted a gut in heat 15 to try to join Ostrich. I thought that he'd done it but the slick track gave drive in strange places. Cook looked to be there but was then going nowhere. There are better candidates (well candidate) for the blame game.
  5. We're not starting for 4 hours though and that's not going to do much damage apart from stop dust. It's fine all the way
  6. Weather looks fine. Possible shower at 4ish but otherwise nothing.
  7. It could be entertaining watching Tsunami on one though. Half-time entertainment on the Newcastle centre green.
  8. Seems that what Holub did before (he also gave Kurtz a bend 2 brown pants moment) has been glossed over. I'm all for hard riding but he was an accident waiting to happen unfortunately, as poor Newman found out. Needs to calm down to avoid a nutter reputation.
  9. Showers forecast all day Tuesday with heavy rain from 7 - 9 pm. If the track has survived the deluge of the last couple of days (which it hasn't) then I can't see them taking the gamble based on the current forecast. I'm surprised that it hasn't been called off but unless there is a sudden heatwave then I expect this'll be off in the morning
  10. I know, hence the carefully inserted "high level" which PL isn't. And I know that the current EL isn't any better before anyone gets excited and wishes to point that out.
  11. Indeed, it was almost as good as it once was, minus any high level star quality of course.
  12. I must have been at a different meeting, It was well prepared and if you missed the start early doors you got filled in with wet shale for your troubles. I'd rather it be like that than slick from the off. If it was like that on a regular basis then we'd get used to it.
  13. You must stop snacking on the Trill. It turns you into a jibbering idiot. Well more of a jibbering idiot that normal
  14. We have whatever dates the EoES give us. Usually any day with a y in it so Friday meets the criteria.
  15. We're sorted at the moment but it looks like Rathbone will not fanny about if action is needed. I'd be more worried about your lot in 10 days time if I was you. They did that but when they looked at what came out it still made as much sense as before it went in.
  16. Wall to wall cloud as predicted and cold. Don't think that I'll be moving far today.
  17. I thought that it was a bit harsh when someone called you Mrs Magoo, but perhaps not I'm not sure that a curfew has ever been officially confirmed but I think that 10pm is when the locals, the EoES administration and the promotion suddenly get restless. Given that it's a showground, it's confusing that a bit of noise on a few nights over 6 months is such a problem. Almost as confusing as not using the Dunblane car park entrance when parking in the concrete car park?
  18. Always good to check but put your glasses on next time Good point though is that if we have a 10pm curfew then they'll have to get a shift on to get this done. That cuts out roving presentation waffle time
