  1. The grand final is over 2 legs unless you hadn’t noticed. The witches scored 44 without using a tactical sub last night. That would easily be enough given how poorly most of the tigers go at foxhall.
  2. Oxford need to sack tungate and bring in a big hitter. Whether this is possible or not….
  3. This has to be a moral victory for the witches. All riders contributing and the tigers heat leaders colours lowered. If Ipswich stay fit then they are odds on imo. The aces pose more of a threat over 2 legs, assuming they make some shrewd changes to their line up
  4. it was zach cook that took out boughton as well but this chap is clearly viewing the meeting through tinted spectacles
  5. watch it back on BSN pal. foord took out kileen and scott. cook took out boughton. nicholls was pulled back and warned when making a perfect start. i’m not an oxford fan but these incidents tilted the outcome in poodle’s favour
  6. poole were pretty filthy. won dirty maybe the best way to describe the comeback.
  7. Phil needs to reset the scores to make these final heats worth watching. in the interests of speedway. or maybe give the lions a few points lead.
  8. nice to see masters EF after him being so smug and critical of foxhall on his last visit when he got away with jumping the start
  9. it might also depend on ipswich having a realistic chance of progressing on thursdsy
  10. guests needs to be booked in advance. would ipswich want to risk emil pulling out sunday evening and then scrambling around to get a replacement monday morning? i doubt he will ride on thursday, but him not riding tonight tells us little.
  11. great GP so far. unpredictable, overtaking and a well prepared track
  12. track looks good. hopefully it holds together
  13. Users were still experiencing connection issues last night. Too many connections was the message quoted to me when I couldn’t connect. Are the recent problems now behind us?
  14. witches always likely to be up against even before Rew’s fall and mistakes gifted points to the lions. masters moving at the start in heat 7 should have been pulled back and with him on a warning he maybe wouldn’t have made quick starts in subsequent heats. think that fricke had to be excluded in heat 1 as he was the prime cause of the stoppage with ellis taking avoiding action. nicholls and king are past their prime and both were guilty of riding too wide forfeiting further points. no prizes were up for grabs last night but sides rarely recover from their top riders coming back from injury ready to perform at their best so unfortunately it looks as though the witches are destined for disappointment. on another note i can’t understand why leicester are able to bring in kemp for cook. on what grounds is cook unable to ride? a week or two off seems reasonable given his partner is due to give birth but this has been going on forever now. before we know it leicester will be picking horses for courses at reserve in the grand final. they should be forced to track an ndl rider in my opinion.
  15. Oxford had 7 of their first 7 heat wins coming from different riders which i found remarkable. odds on that before the meeting?
