Same crap every year, but this was another level, an embarrassment to speedway. -

So TNT have favoured showing adverts over the gate picks and we have to work it out ourselves -

No reason whatsoever for any rider apart from Kubera to leave the track and return to the pits there -
Warsaw GP Saturday 17th May

Let's be honest, it was crap. Every race largely decided by end of first lap, if it wasn't for the Freddie/Brady incident and Jason's crash there'd be nothing of note to discuss. -
Championship Pairs April 5th 3pm (Workington)

Yes, that area is always shaded by the trees in the afternoon, made worse by the cold easterly wind yesterday. Should've walked round to the start/finish straight like I did, no wind and in the sun on that side, a lot of people must've done the same because the back straight seats were half empty later on in the meeting. -

Yes, for someone who's had access to the track to practice for the last couple of weeks I was expecting better. Then again, it's different riding round a track on your own compared to battling for the places with three other bikes. -

Couldn't really knock his commitment last season, save for when his partner was expecting, he delivered in most meetings from what I saw. Still an excellent rider at Championship level when he's in the right place. -
Grand Prix Ticket Sales

I'll be subscribing to TNT for 1 month to get Prague GP, 2 x Manchester GP, and Gorzow GP plus whatever bonus league matches they show over that period. Not too bad for the £30.99. Then cancelling 😁 -
Shape of the track for me, reminds me a bit of the football pitch type tracks of Berwick and the old Derwent Park at Workington, long narrow straights and tight radius corners have riders queuing up to enter the corners

Becker so far riding like it's the first time he's seen the track

Glad I just got in and watched it back, skipped through it in 15 mins flat, garbage track produced garbage racing. -
if riders are tied for a position in a Speedway GP round, the countback system is used, with the rider registering the most race wins ranked highest. If they are tied on race wins, seconds, then thirds and fourth places are taken into consideration – with a fourth place deemed better than a retirement or disqualification. If this does not resolve the tie, the rider who scored the most points in the race or races when the tied riders met is placed highest. If the riders are still deadlocked, the rider with the highest FIM ranking out of the tied riders is placed highest Can't be bothered looking back through the scorecard, they must've reached option 4 by the sounds of it.

Sad but true, it amazes me that Cardiff can still get around 20k, for a lot of 'supporters' it must be the only speedway meeting they actually attend during the year.
-
Nowhere near as many people will go to Manchester as Cardiff, it's not really a 'weekend away' place is it?
-
It was rubbish, again. Each heat pretty much all over before the end of lap 1.
-
Haven't attended for over ten years now, if you're there with a few beers on board and taking in the atmosphere it can seem good, but in the cold light of day it's very average. Even the fireworks are getting fewer and fewer with every year, hardly worth bothering with them now going by that 'display'.
