This year, for the first time I can remember, speedway will be represented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed by everybody's/nobody's hero/villain.
"Three-time Speedway World Champion - In action on the hill aboard his current Stuha Speedway machine"
Very simple. By rule, Ward didn't score those points therefore, as a resulting consequence, neither did Poole which alters the match results accordingly.
Read on. Para 111 explains that Mr. Ward, having claimed fairness should be applied, doesn't give a reason and the cancellation still applies.
Mr. Ward F?ck up.
If Mr. Ward's points are cancelled then a resulting consequence is that his team no longer have those points, they are cancelled, they no longer exist, they are ex-points.
That's a different debate. What SCB & I are saying is that once the referee or meeting steward has decided at around heat 7/8/9 that the meeting will be called off after heat 10 then they're putting a result ahead of rider safety.
Not quite. After heat 10 only the losing team can ask for a track inspection or abandonment, prior to heat 10 there's no restriction. The ref or meeting steward can consult on track conditions at any time.
