  1. Think it was shorter in those days and after his crash they made it longer
  2. I thought it was almost exactly the same place to be honest
  3. Couldn't really see from where I was but just a typical Danish manouvre, you always take a risk going around the outside of one of them
  4. I don't think that at all. He was never a rider to mix it in the GP's either, relied a lot on gating/speed - some might say 'gating tart'. He was trying in his first two races and then again at the start of his third but when they got close, he backed off.
  5. Exactly, British speedway requires skillful riders, not just throttle jockeys. However it was his first time at foxhall I think but nevertheless, when riders got close to him in his last ride he wimped out of battling with them.
  6. Says a keyboard with no clue how you ride a speedway bike
  7. If he didn't dangle his leg off the footrest mid bend every time he may find it more stable. Adapt your riding!
  8. Laguta wet himself in Ht 11 so not surprised he's been replaced in Ht 13.
  9. Why waste the tactical in a guaranteed 3-3 race with Emil, odd team management from Lynn.
  10. I'm not disagreeing with that, I disagree that he's the greatest GB rider in history - do you not understand the difference?
  11. Don't forget he hasn't been contracted to ride in the Premiership this year either (other than a few guest appearances). Shame though as he's having a great season.
  12. Why on earth do premiership teams use Sam Hagon - does he pay them to ride? Seriously, they can't think he'll beat anyone at this level so seems such a strange choice. What have I missed?
  13. I thought it was? I wonder why they don't get bigger crowds, given the population in the area and the fare served up, seems a shame.
  14. Anywhere else on the track Toby would've gone, no contact just a mistake - ref bottled it using the 'unsatisfactory start' rule to avoid a decision.
  15. Think the racing should improve, gate and go so far. Sounds like plenty of interest in the other two Premiership meetings tonight.
  16. If you mean for Wolves then fine but disagree completely if you mean GB's greatest.
  17. He's renowned for it, often stuffs his team mate around Foxhall!
  18. I don't think it makes much difference. The bikes never reach their top speed and there is a fair amount of resistance. Tiny riders in history have not been more successful, schofield, turner, bjerre as three examples.
  19. Now that GP riders are realising there is definite benefit to riding in the UK they seem to be coming back. As Artem is finding, it's not that easy over here.
  20. Surprised you've not seen Danny King before?
  21. Whilst I agree with you, if they are exploited in the right way they could provide some additional tech insight - fastest rider, fastest lap etc. to keep youngsters interested whilst we try to fill in our programmes with pens.
