  1. Whilst I agree with you, if they are exploited in the right way they could provide some additional tech insight - fastest rider, fastest lap etc. to keep youngsters interested whilst we try to fill in our programmes with pens.
  2. I agree with you about Wright but the same as in any job, if you p off your manager, you'll get less opportunities!
  3. Very small margins and GB could easily have won - congratulations to them, they did me proud. I don't believe they lack any mental strength at all, unfortunately the way some races pan out it can be another who presents an obstacle e.g. Fricke in Ht 20 held up Lambert which allowed Janowski to pass. Janowski himself had to ride the outside as he had nothing to lose - sometimes being the chaser is easier than being the chased and Lambert was no doubt settling for second (bar any mistakes from Fricke) after a couple of laps. Any suggestions Poland are miles ahead was clearly de-bunked.
  4. I'm expecting it to be as they shouldn't be scared of a rain off as they could go again tomorrow.
  5. Touché! No, Foxhall is the place, holds 10k and would serve up some great racing and atmosphere.
  6. Kinsley has been around a long time now, not improving & time to call it quits in my view, can't be good getting beat all the time. Maybe he can get better?
  7. So did I but he wasn't on the box for the two semi-finals. Has tweeted about the race off though.
  8. On, so that's five rides each then. How many can the reserve have?
  9. Oh didn't realise that, so the top four all get six rides then. Not having a programme means I just watch it as it happens!
  10. No brainer i'd say, more rides for your best rider has to bring an advantage surely?
  11. I think it was because of the surrounding circumstances, including his drop in form but mainly because someone on here said he was out, someone who has been a reliable source before. But it's been corrected.
  12. The guy from belle vue said this a few weeks ago and I mentioned this and the new injury for hans being a little suspicious only for Mick Bratley to say it was nonsense. Now he's missed his flight. What next?
  13. The primary concern for the organisers is making sure the events go ahead - it's a commercial enterprise. I'm not surprised the track has been very hard and slick, it would cost a lot of money to rearrange. Even though it was a very slick I did enjoy it because it was unpredictable at times and we got to see some new faces mixng it up. I wonder if Aus will give Chris Holder a ride or two on Friday, couldn't be worse than Fricke surely? As for the scores display, I thought it was good to see both the team scores in the bottom right and the individual rider scores, something i'd be looking at had I had a programme.
  14. Thomsen shows that even when there's contact, the rider can stay on and doesn't have to fall deliberately, credit to him.
  15. As Darcy said, Lidsey showing how riding in the UK has benefitted him.
  16. If possible, the crowd looks even smaller than last night! These tracks in Poland are awful, gate and go, little that skillful riders can do.
  17. Controversial, but I quite like drone cam. No sweat for GB tonight, Wright should have been in the squad but out of the others, has to be Worrall, with Brennan ready to replace if necessary. Slickfest like that and Poland should gate to victory.
  18. On my sky q remote I press the right arrow twice and the audio menu pops up top right and can select options through it
