  1. Having just replied to pointsmeanplayoffs on the Kings Lynn thread, could any nice Belle Vue fans tell me about standing areas at the NSS.Having only been up for the World Cup final in 2016 there was obviously plenty of temporary seating there.I can't remember seeing any terracing on the bends,is there any standing on the bends or is it just the grandstand to sit or the South stand for standing.
  2. Having only been up there for the World Cup a couple of years ago i am unsure of the areas of the stadium where you can stand. For the World Cup they had temporary seating on 3/4th bend.Obviously you have the grandstand and the South stand but am unsure whether you can actually stand on the bends. Can't remember seeing any terracing. If so i guess we would make our way to the South stand.
  3. It is Etheridge who fills in at no7 according to both Aces and Stars websites.
  4. Well we were thinking about. There's 5 of us going but one has to try and be back for work for around 2am,crazy .So we thought we would take this option thinking it may be a safer bet for getting back as early as possible. If we make the final then who knows.Hope you got plenty of interest for the coach.I think there are quite a few making there own way so hopefully there will be loads to cheer on the boys, and to give the Manchester boys some stick.
  5. Thanks for the suggestions everyone, now all we want is good weather,a great meeting and a Stars victory of course
  6. Sounds good, ideally though i want to get parked up early so we get a spot in the stadium or in the school. Then we would walk to wherever.Don't mind 10-15 minute stroll. Are you allowed to park in the cinema car park?
  7. Looks good and cheap as well. But i can see this being packed next Monday surely?Incidentally how many does the suite hold?
  8. Thanks for that,i will be coming which ever way the sat nav takes us.Think it will be Hyde Road.Think my mates might take the Hotel just for the beer i'm the driver.Mind you if we make the final, and that is a big if i will nominate one of my friends then to drive.
  9. Five of us coming up Monday, but can anyone tell me if there are many places to eat near the stadium. Not fussed whether it's any takeaways or pubs to be honest.I normally come up the back wayto Manchester and stop off at one of the pubs on route, but would like to get there in plenty of time to get parked up this time around.
  10. I think he does that to all. When i have caught him out on a few occasions he will never hold his hand up and say he was wrong. Most people will though.
  11. Totally agree with you.I said the same a couple of weeks ago,it's not Poole or the riders it's just a couple on here that gets peoples heckles up all the time and they can't see outside the box.Like i said before this thread would have been up to page 50 by now if a certain poster wasn't banned.Says it all really.
  12. I was thinking that.I can only see the average of Riss going down slightly, and with his and Jonas B's average very similar already it may make the difference of whether he could guest at Lynn or not.Having said that maybe Jonas B's average may go down too.
  13. Totally agree, nobody at all are thinking this is a gimme. It just so happens that this tie is best suited for Lynn.I expect this semi to be close on aggregate over the 2 legs. And a possible nail biter right to the end of the 2nd leg.
  14. I'm sure the King's Lynn v Aces or Aces v King's Lynn threads will soon be taken over and turned into a Poole thread anyway.Although the main instigator isn't on here for a while, deservedly so too
  15. It would be even more fitting if we win it having topped the league and having never won the damn thing before Why hasn't this thread got to 50 pages yet,it's as if something is missing
  16. Think he was running on pure adrenalin for the re-run of ht15 last night which got him through that.I'm sure he must have been feeling quite second hand after getting a bit of rest, which is normally the case. You body seems to stiffen up after something like that then rest.Lets hope he is just battered and bruised and nothing else, and a few more days rest and hopefully he will start to feel a bit better. Edit: Just seen that Robert actually took a third race in ht 13 after not riding in ht 11.So probably just a tactical switch as Robert wasn't scoring possibly down to him not actually being really fit enough to race.
  17. What an earth is Rosco on about"football hooligans".Far from football hooligans, lots of verbals and shouting yes but to tar the fans as if they were football hooligans is so far from the truth.I quite like Rosco but coming out with stuff like that beggars belief.Take the defeat on the chin Rosco because comments like that sounds just like sour grapes to me.
  18. Again this was a throw back to the good days.Aggro in the pits, the disgusting move by Batch, although i would rather not see that as a rider could have been seriously hurt. But this always gets the crowd going.I mean i heard a young lad turn around to his dad i assume and say now which one is Batchelor. All adds to the tension of a big ht 15 and everyone baying for Batchelor's blood
  19. According to most near the first bend Batch didn't turn at all, quite intentionally to squeeze Lambert up.Disgraceful move really which could have ended up very bad for Lambert. How he walked away from that i will never know.He was tossed around like a rag doll before clattering into the fence with his bike.Boy his adrenalin was pumping in the re-run though, the atmosphere from the fans come to life there and then.Like S.Lambert said the atmosphere was like a boxing match for ht 15 keep it up. Well Batch not bad for a sh*t team eh.Topped the league,ko cup final and the play-offs to look forward to.No wonder you were the last one to leave the pits a tad embarrassed i would think
  20. Pretty sure it will be,thought you can only use r/r for a 2nd string anyway unless 2 or more are missing from your top 5.
  21. I think i would score more than Riss with the form he is in at the moment(only kidding)
  22. There is a rider available at the moment who scored 5+1 and 9+1 and won both of his reserve races at Lynn this season. He's available at the moment but unsure of the averages for when October gets here.
  23. You must be use to these kind of changes at the business end of the season.Normally you would say it was ok though
  24. There most certainly is cover out there for him at present, especially for the 1st leg which is in September, maybe different for the 2nd leg which is in October.
  25. He's decided to take a break from the sport after a difficult few weeks that have involved a series of crashes which have knocked his confidence and affected his scoring. This is according to the Ipswich website. So he is not injured just lacking in confidence. So as Daniel Smith say's he is withholding his services.Probably a clever move by Belle Vue,who know's.I'm sure Eric could enlighten the Lynn promotion
