  1. There's been a robbery on Wimborne Road tonight, the ref is wanted for questioning
  2. Not only is the league decided by a couple of meetings, it's actually decided by one incompetent person called a ref
  3. I agree with that. The play-offs are a bit of a money spinner though, but only for the clubs involved. It brings all the casual fans out for one or two matches. What needs to happen is to entice the casuals out for the whole season not just for the last two matches. Not sure the play-offs actually bring out newbies though.I have tried getting people from work to come explaining about the play-offs and all the ones i have spoke to think it's a bit of a joke. All i get is you run all season finish top and have nothing to show for it and you could lose it in one match. All i can say is well yes and that's it.I don't mind the play-offs but the team finishing top of the league should at least get some kind of trophy to show for their efforts over the season.
  4. This is a problem the play-offs give you, there always seems to be injuries at the end of the season.Since play-offs began how many of the finals have both sides been at full strength?Genuine question.
  5. Thanks, that's good we can walk to the stadium and have a few beers then. Then we can annoy you Poole fans
  6. Anyway is there any Poole fan who isn't too mad at the moment tell me how far the travelodge on Holes Bay Road is from the stadium please.
  7. Anyway still no price information for the match yet.Have we got to turn up with a blank cheque for Matt Ford to fill out
  8. Couldn't agree with you more. And if Ford thought it would help Poole more to win the P/Offs he would most certainly do it.He may have even tried even if it wasn't within the rules.
  9. Think you will find that is the KO Cup. 18.2 SGB PREMIERSHIP & CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE KNOCK-OUT CUP 18.2.1 A Draw of the competing Teams will be made, with Byes being given where necessary in order to equalise the number of competing teams. 18.2.2 All Meetings, including the Semi-Finals and Final are decided upon the aggregate score of both the home and away legs. In the event of a tie the outcome will be determined by Golden Heats Format. 18.2.3 The Heat Format for the meetings are as per Art. 23 Appendix G. 18.2.4 A rider may only guest for one team in any leg (home and away).
  10. I'm sure they will wait until tomorrow to see how he feels. It's often a day or so later when you feel the real effects of the crash.
  11. So that basically leaves Lynn the only option of R/R really for Iversen if he is out. What a way to end the season if this is the case.Over the course of the season you can get over these things, but when it's just down to 2 matches you are pretty well screwed.
  12. Depends on how much rest he needs. He may feel totally second hand tomorrow when he wakes up. On the guest front,is it confirmed that Ellis is riding for Poole on Wednesday?
  13. Steve, get in the real world, not everyone is as well off as you.Remember you bleating on about the pound getting weaker against the Euro and how it wasn't helping you.Not everyone can have some kind of business and i would think probably 50% of people only earn the minimum wage.So get of your high horse expecting everyone should be able to afford it,because it's a fact that not everybody can.
  14. We weren't to bad away from home, best in the league actually.Having said that we have had two humiliating defeats down there and i don't fancy our chances this time, but i do live in hope to keep it closer than the last two defeats.
  15. Think Buster should only give them a bonus if they win it.Gives that little bit more incentive to give 110% and not just a 100%.
  16. If previous scores don't mean a lot, how can you say we have the best reserve in MPT. Imo the one with the highest average over the season will be the better rider. Who knows it maybe MPT, but at the moment it is Worrall
  17. Personally I think Worrall is the strongest at reserve, his average in both leagues also suggest this. People have just looked at how MPT went at Belle Vue and automatically think he is in awesome form.He is a bt patchy at home and very much away from home.Your reserves should definitely outscore ours at your place, hope not though
  18. Having not been on for a few days, I thought I had looked in on a Punch and Judy script. You can see why Poole threads always get so many pages. Keep it up Shovlar and Gavan. Anyway looking forward to our trip down to Whingebourne Rdfirst time in a long while. Hope it's a good competitive match and hoping Lynn can keep it closer than last time to make the 2nd leg interesting
