  1. That was a little embarrassing, that certainly put a dent in our little run.Hopefully they will use this as a wake up call and re-group and go again.Onwards and upwards. Well done Somerset this must give them a massive confidence boost going into the play-offs.
  2. He will take Proctor's ride in heat 10 as a TS i would assume.
  3. I think most forum members are use to their threads being taken over
  4. I think what SS is getting at is,that apparently the 1st semi final is the 17th Sept, the 2nd semi is 24th Sept and on Oct 1st is both semi finals 2nd legs.So by the looks of it there will be two teams that go first.
  5. Same could be said about those few Poole fans that travelled last week.As a few Poole posters said the whole team made no effort Would be happy with a point but without two heat leaders will be tough. As you say two wins tomorrow or even a win and a draw will be enough.Proctor is missing tomorrow night too. Incidentally K.Lynn got a lot of flack over this re-arrangement,didn't realize Somerset postponed this fixture originally because of the World Cup football.I assumed it was the weather so Somerset must share some of the blame in this i would have thought
  6. I had my same script ready when we were 10 points down.Must admit now this is becoming a good run because when you can add Wolverhampton away in that run it does make it tougher.Did it help us with the withdrawal of Proctor.7+1 from his last 3 rides although one was Lambert as T/S so may have happened anyway. Finishing top of the league is so close now.Not bad for the team tipped to finish bottom or close to anyway.
  7. And Leicester beat Somerset, gone our way tonight
  8. Twitter,i don't do twitter but when i was told he had withdrawn i thought i would investigate
  9. Assumed he got injured in ht 3.It described a domino effect so may have got some handlebars in his ribs
  10. People are getting carried away with King's Lynn are bang in form now or the team to beat.Yes we have won 10 out of the last 11.But if you look back 7 of those were at home which you are expected to win,one was a drubbing at Poole and we have won at Leicester twice and Belle Vue once.So while the 10 out of 11 looks brilliant it's not quite as great as it appears. This is why i air on the side of caution as this is a real test to our title credentials. No disrespect to Belle Vue and Leicester by the way.
  11. Think your playing your hopes down a bit.Wolves have proved to be very strong at home.Whilst Lynn are in good form they do tend to struggle at Monmore for whatever reason. You only have to look at Wolves last week to see how strong they are at home.Down to 5 riders from the off and still won the meeting, against Belle Vue who at the time were in a bit of form themselves. Hope your are right though and the Stars do get the win
  12. What's going on,no interest in this match? Thought i would start the ball rolling then. Not really a great hunting ground for Lynn, but i feel we have got to get at least a point from this if we want to top the league.Lynn have everyone present but Wolves have N.Morris in for Schlein and Clegg in for Greaves. We came agonizingly close to gaining a point in the A fixture but this time we really have to up our game and at least take a point home.
  13. Only thing is Trees has the balls(sorry Trees just a saying)to apologize when she has it wrong.Something totally lacking from SS.
  14. King's Lynn don't have to run the double header against Leicester but they didn't want to leave it to chance. With actually riding the 2nd meeting on the actual cut-off date.If Somerset,Poole and Swindon didn't run on an off night who's to say they wouldn't have needed a double header.
  15. Would have gone for Charles Wright if available.Would add something to the meeting i would suspect. Let's not forget NKI is only on a 7.33 average. You can't just go and get anyone to guest you know. And i wouldn't think Klindt is the cheapest option. Just wondering though what if Poole want Somerset to win?In hope that Somerset will pick Belle Vue and Lynn end up with Poole
  16. Unfortunately on this season's form you couldn't really count Iversen as part of a top pairing as his average shows. To be honest he has been very poor, probably 4 double figure scores this season unsure without looking. He should be scoring double figures every other meeting. If he was to get back to the form we know he is capable of i would feel much more confident in Lynn being able to lift the play off trophy.
  17. King's Lynn arguably without their best rider around the OTA going on past performances.Didn't he give the master Doyle a lesson 3 times that night in June of this year.Would have been hoping for a point, but will be tough without the Master of the OTA
  18. But if that is his 21st meeting just rode you will have to drop his 1st meeting from that tally. So if the first meeting he scored 4 from 4 then his average would still be 6.80.
  19. Well if they didn't try as you keep referring to,maybe the riders should club together and pay some of the fans that made the long journey a bit of compensation for their wasted journey.
