  1. Twitter,i don't do twitter but when i was told he had withdrawn i thought i would investigate
  2. Assumed he got injured in ht 3.It described a domino effect so may have got some handlebars in his ribs
  3. People are getting carried away with King's Lynn are bang in form now or the team to beat.Yes we have won 10 out of the last 11.But if you look back 7 of those were at home which you are expected to win,one was a drubbing at Poole and we have won at Leicester twice and Belle Vue once.So while the 10 out of 11 looks brilliant it's not quite as great as it appears. This is why i air on the side of caution as this is a real test to our title credentials. No disrespect to Belle Vue and Leicester by the way.
  4. Think your playing your hopes down a bit.Wolves have proved to be very strong at home.Whilst Lynn are in good form they do tend to struggle at Monmore for whatever reason. You only have to look at Wolves last week to see how strong they are at home.Down to 5 riders from the off and still won the meeting, against Belle Vue who at the time were in a bit of form themselves. Hope your are right though and the Stars do get the win
  5. What's going on,no interest in this match? Thought i would start the ball rolling then. Not really a great hunting ground for Lynn, but i feel we have got to get at least a point from this if we want to top the league.Lynn have everyone present but Wolves have N.Morris in for Schlein and Clegg in for Greaves. We came agonizingly close to gaining a point in the A fixture but this time we really have to up our game and at least take a point home.
  6. Only thing is Trees has the balls(sorry Trees just a saying)to apologize when she has it wrong.Something totally lacking from SS.
  7. King's Lynn don't have to run the double header against Leicester but they didn't want to leave it to chance. With actually riding the 2nd meeting on the actual cut-off date.If Somerset,Poole and Swindon didn't run on an off night who's to say they wouldn't have needed a double header.
  8. Would have gone for Charles Wright if available.Would add something to the meeting i would suspect. Let's not forget NKI is only on a 7.33 average. You can't just go and get anyone to guest you know. And i wouldn't think Klindt is the cheapest option. Just wondering though what if Poole want Somerset to win?In hope that Somerset will pick Belle Vue and Lynn end up with Poole
  9. Unfortunately on this season's form you couldn't really count Iversen as part of a top pairing as his average shows. To be honest he has been very poor, probably 4 double figure scores this season unsure without looking. He should be scoring double figures every other meeting. If he was to get back to the form we know he is capable of i would feel much more confident in Lynn being able to lift the play off trophy.
  10. King's Lynn arguably without their best rider around the OTA going on past performances.Didn't he give the master Doyle a lesson 3 times that night in June of this year.Would have been hoping for a point, but will be tough without the Master of the OTA
  11. But if that is his 21st meeting just rode you will have to drop his 1st meeting from that tally. So if the first meeting he scored 4 from 4 then his average would still be 6.80.
  12. Well if they didn't try as you keep referring to,maybe the riders should club together and pay some of the fans that made the long journey a bit of compensation for their wasted journey.
  13. Thank you Skidder, think you are the first Poole fan to come on here and actually say a well done to the Stars. The others can't seem to give any credit to Lynn,it just all seems down to the Poole riders why we won last night.According to most Poole fans anyway.
  14. You better ask them next time why they weren't trying,i would love to hear their responses.Give me a reason as to why they wouldn't try?Woryna seemed the only one who possibly didn't bother when he didn't gate he did give up.I may as well say we weren't trying at Poole then.
  15. Of course the Poole riders were trying. You have to take the defeat on the chin and give praise to Lynn because they were by far the better team on the night.I don't think the riders were happy throwing hundreds of pounds away do you?
  16. Don't forget Thomas Jorgensen,Redcar. Poole's No7 Jakobsen doesn't ride in the Championship
  17. How can you have a guest for Covatti,5th in your averages i believe.Or is there a different rule as he is doubling up? Lynn will desperately miss NKI around there, even though he is having a poor season he does seem to have a liking for the Oak Tree Arena.I would get Charles Wright to guest even though he isn't up to Iversen's standard he could upset a few
  18. Won't be able to use him for Allen next month.NBJ's Championship average goes up to 6.40 in a couple of days.
  19. You seem to spend a lot of time on here about this meeting considering you think it was a nothing meeting. This result has obviously hurt a bit. That's what's wrong with the sport.League winners deserve some kind of recognition for finishing top imo.Try explaining to someone who don't go to speedway you race a whole league campaign and if you finish top you don't automatically win the league. Some would think it's crazy.
  20. Poole were woeful. As for lowering their averages this result would hardly put a dent into their current averages anyway,so it wasn't that. They were simply beaten by the better team on the night. They really didn't like a grippy track early doors, got better when it slickened off a bit. S.Lambert said in the meeting in the bar afterwards that it was the grippiest track he's rode for a few years and wished more tracks were like it. Poole nearly had their play-off chances ruined when Kurtz lost control and nearly wiped out Josh.G on the back straight, luckily they missed each other by no more than a couple of inches and an accident was avoided. Remember that, that was Shovlar again, but do we expect anything else from him.
  21. Just had a word from a friend at the track, and it's dry there
  22. Compensation, that's what Skidder said isn't it.King's Lynn would be skint now with the amount of times our Danes were meant to be riding in Denmark.
  23. Just had that in Wisbech, but seems to be brightening up.Looking at the rainfall radar on the met office it looks like the rain may just skirt Lynn, but not like what we have had.Just about the amount what Buster would put on the track just beforehand. So it doesn't seem to be to bad.
  24. Well according to one of your fellow Poole fans you could have had Klindt if your P/O place wasn't assured. He actually said from the horses mouth if there is still doubt Klindt will line up for Poole against King's Lynn.So i take it the horses mouth must be Ford,so don't believe everything he says.Must be a money thing
