  1. AVERAGES M R P B GSA Ave. 1st 2nd 3rd 4th R Ex Patrick Hougaard 6 30 57 5 7.60 8.27 9 12 6 3 0 0 Josh Grajczonek 8 36 66 1 7.33 7.44 16 7 4 5 3 1 Charles Wright 7 31 44 4 5.68 6.19 7 8 7 6 1 2 Rohan Tungate 8 33 42 2 5.09 5.33 6 6 12 6 1 2 Jake Allen 8 44 52 5 4.73 5.18 5 10 17 9 1 2 Paul Starke 8 34 35 4 4.12 4.59 5 6 8 10 4 1 Jan Graversen 8 30 26 6 3.47 4.27 3 5 7 13 1 1 . These are the latest from the BSPA site,team average well below 42pts.Although Hougaard and Wright haven't completed 4h and 4a.Even if they used the average they started on they would still be able to fit Kerr in by my reckoning.
  2. Having looked at the updates it looks as though Josh has been gifted all of his points bar the 2 he scored against Belle Vue.I wasn't at that match so cant say for sure. But all of his other points have been scored against riders who have fallen, retired or have been excluded.
  3. That's good,i may attend some. All this beauty sleep i've been trying to get over the years hasn't worked so an extra 15 minutes less sleep won't hurt.
  4. By the way Trees, how long after the speedway meeting does the after meeting press conference roughly start.
  5. That's because it was all on the fans on the bends .Were they allowed to dust themselves down on the track for the final few heats
  6. Too high at the moment, hopefully when the averages come out he can.Now this would make Lynn into a very good team imo.
  7. There don't seem to be much pleasing you at the moment Danny. I love to see my team win first of all, like 95% of the fans are if they are to be honest. The way i see it last night the better racing was up until the interval, there were some good close races,Rose in ht 1 until he retired,Huck until he fell,Batch and Nilsson ht 5 don't know how many times they seemed to clash with each other.Holder team riding Rose ht 6,ht 7 that awesome ride by Lambert. The problem is alot of people seem to forget this because the team were getting hammered at the time. Most people seem to remember the 2nd half for a better performance and racing as we completely turned it around. But the racing wasn't as good, but i to loved it because we were winning. We gated better and the Leicester riders never got anywhere near in the 2nd half. The exception being ht 13 with another great race involving Lambert and King.To me you don't always need overtaking to constitute a good meeting. Loved watching Ayre's with his celebrations, let's hope we can get more characters in the sport like him and maybe the crowd will get a bit more involved.Nigel Pearson hits the nail on the head with his bit in the programme. Also like Gavin on the mic,you can tell he is a fan first and foremost and is really trying to get the fans involved.
  8. But in your original post you said the dust was absent until the final few heats,so you lied.Fact! Why do you seem to come across all arrogant most of the time.
  9. Well there's a few on here who thinks it was better years ago,so it can't have been that bad.If i feel it's the same as back then i must be in a good place . Anyway looking forward to tonight as i haven't seen any speedway since the away match at Rye.Weather's good for a change, lets hope for some decent racing and a good result from the Stars.
  10. Personally i can't see where i am being treated differently now as to what i was 30 years ago.
  11. Wherever you go sport wise you are treated just as a number.
  12. Blimey,is he on his way back into the sport
  13. I like Roynon, but not sure whether he would be an improvement.Unfortunately all of his injuries are catching up with him.He is also contemplating retiring.
  14. It does make me wonder how we all coped 20-30 years ago.I know you are going to say you have to move with the times. But years ago i would just turn up to see a meeting relying on the odd bit in the Lynn news and advertiser. Is that paper still going by the way. We must have had casual fans years ago too who didn't have information to go on.Most casual fans will go as and when it pleases them anyway.
  15. I did just try to edit my post after i had wrote it as i see that he is meant to be out for 4-5 weeks. But some riders do seem to come back after a couple of weeks now, maybe KK is a slow healer. Now will the BSPA re-asess his average down when the team reaches 8 matches or leave it alone.
  16. Blimey that's a long time for a broken collarbone nowadays isn't it.I thought they healed in about 3 weeks now.
  17. In the short term it's bad luck for KK but good luck for Poole.Stuck on his average Poole will pretty much have a choice of guests to use or can use R/R with everyone being able to take a ride.He will probably only miss the one meeting anyway, collarbone injuries normally heal pretty quickly nowadays with riders normally taking laser treatment
  18. I haven't a clue.Maybe the BSPA don't either.
  19. As far as i am aware the averages will come into play a week after they have completed the 4h 4a
  20. That would fit comfortably, with nearly 2pts spare.Personally i would prefer Kerr to Nielsen and this would still give you plenty to spare.
  21. Those are the words i have been looking for.I'm not very good at getting things across how i want to.
  22. Well done Lambert, gets over a third of the points for Lynn.Team average must be low enough soon to bring Kerr in for Bailey.A change is definately needed. Two wins against the bottom side is all we have to our name, but has that exceeded the expectations. Totally agree with you there. So the most he thought we could have got at Somerset is a draw as the 3pts exceeded his expectations. We should be expecting to win at the bottom side and he should be instilling this into the riders.
  23. Such bad sportsmanship to say that sort of thing with 11 races to go.
