Thats really good to hear..
-
We were let down big time by one rider last season, and to be fair he overstayed his welcome. Not sure that will happen this season..
-
Get yr facts rigt Gavan, clearly you dont read papers or posts. Matt said it was POTENTIALLY, the best side sinse 0-14.
-
Ah, well there you go then..
-
I take it you dont watch the TV adverts either..
-
You've been watching to many adverts.. The car hire Enterprise advert..
-
Thanks mate, much appreciated.
-
I actually feel a little sorry for James, especially a he scored paid 11 at Sheffield last nyt. He was riding to his average, and we all knew he wasnt going to improve overnight. Matt did say it would be a hard season for the lad, but i think he tried his best to impress and ride another night to help himself improve. But end of the day Matt is the boss and he's trying to do what he feels is right and in the best interest of the club with a view to making the play off's.. People say the Premiership has deteriorated but its still a very hard league to ride in.

No problem, thank you for your honesty Beowulf, i have been through an horendous time, it will take me about 18 mths to be myself again, so im still in recovery mode and on edge, and this is part of my distraction, as well as me racing. Im sorry to hear of your loss, its not nice when that happens, my condolences to you. What happened to me puts a different slant on life which could happen to anybody. The tumour was 2 inches round and benign but it could have been oh so much worse, and ive been very lucky so far but its still scary and hard. Thank you again.

Cheers Steve. But they should think before they post. Or perhaps they dont give a monkeys.
-
Another one... You want to swap places with me as well, yeh, hm ? No, i thought not Think before you post..
-
You just cannot help yourself can you. Small wonder why i do not reply to posters like you, and many others on here.
-
Really, put yourself in my position pal. You might miss a few things out as well.
-
Ok i missed an A out.
-
So whats your suggestion, ? because you have to stay competitive, and on the same token, you only get what you pay for..
-
Mate he's a far better rider than he's been showing, you dont finish 10th in the European standings unless you are quite useful. Clearly something is not right, and we all know Matt, he will not carry passengers, yes in this league and at reserve he should be averaging 5 points a meeting, which would be a fair assessment imo.. Linus will improve, he tweeked his set up last thurs and went well, James has in the main so far done his job, nobody is expecting him to set the world alight, if the others do whats expected then James is under no presure, just ride his bike and see where it takes him. He's now riding two nights a week in leagues and he will improve, but it wont be instant. My other worry is PK, his points scoring seems to have deserted him. again, he's a lot better than what he's showing.
-
Unless Szczepaniak bucks up quick smart his place could be in danger, . I would keep james and keep Linus. Klindt's average is to high for a straight swap with Szczepaniak as it stands, but im sure that Matt has things in hand. No, i am not happy to see us keep losing, but its all down to figures. Steve shovlar is ok mate, he's a real proper stunch Poole fan, and like all of us, wants the best for the club. Im not interested in the wind up merchants on here, who are clearly using the wrong bait, they need to change tack, try using Boillies and not worms.. i will ignore them, i know who they are, and will talk to the decent posters, whichever club they represent.

Eh, that is not strickley true, Matt said this was POTENTIALLY, the best team since 0-14. Now, please, if you want to mock our club, which clearly turns you on, get the facts right. Thank you.. -
Yeh, but you seem to have more interest in our club that you do your own, Steve, thats very flattering, but surely you should also consentrate on your own club. I agree with the ruling situation, as ive put in my post, this should be set in stone at the AGM. But it does seem some fans just like to take a swip at us, Matt is doing nothing wrong, to sign a rider it needs to be sanctioned by the powers that be, and thats no different to any other club. They have the power to say no, and again, that applies to every club.
-
For once that is a valid post. I agree, everything should be set in stone before the season starts and EVERY club and promotions know where they are, and those rules kept for the whole season. That said, i do feel there should be a bit of scope, for promotions to sign riders from a team building point of view, i still say its to low, lets face it, speedway is an entertainment business, and fans go to be entertained. These rulings should be set at the AGM.. and stuck to, then nobody can acuse anybody of anything..

Do you not have a team to support Steve ?
