  1. Then please read my above post on last page. Altunatively go and speak to Glyn, perhaps you can put him right where he's going wrong..
  2. Hmm, i dont really get what your saying here. The walk on music has been brought back for the 70th aniversary, and the reaction from fans has been very positive its jolly and uplifting. As for the post meeting conference, its a good idea, and very well attended, but its great when you win, good vibes and banter flying around, but its very difficult when you have a loss, thats the down side. Personally, i do feel the post meeting conference happens a bit to quickly after the meeting, and does not give enough time for track staff to attend, perhaps it could be staggered 10 mins or so, i appreciate that riders want to get on, but its all part of the show,. The meeting sponsors are never, left alone, Bev may or a representative is always, with them, you may not notice that. H/S depicts this is the case..
  3. Granted, Glyn didnt rip up the outside, that i do not know the rerason why. Whether he was under instruction that i dont know. The start was ripped up. I think he also had a few tractor issues as well. He was pretty much on his own for best part of the day and with the aformentioned its a lot of work. I do agree Neil and the boys need to get together with Glyn, but on the same token it has to be a collective decision. We still have a few damp spots which seemed to be taking an age to dry out, and Glyn was a little conservative with the watering, because, the evenings this time of year do go colder quickly, perhaps that was his train of thought, and if you flood the track it will just stand and that is no good for riders of both teams. You can flood the track late afternoon early evening in the summer, but not now, watering is a very fine line. The rakers do there jobs, and Ray was down there early in the afternoon pulling the dirt away from the rubbers on turns one and two, because during the last meeting the dirt was like mud due to the weather and in that instance you can only pull it a foot away from the fence, just to get the best part of it off the rubbers, you cannot dragg slush round the track during a meeting. Glyn knows what he is doing, but yes a little liason from Neill Chris when he's back wouldnt go amiss, but as i said, it has to be a collective decision. Adam Sckornici told me in 0-8, if you spike the bends then you are only turning over loose dirt, and there is no grip, you just spin, so you effectively have 3 choices, 1, you dont rip it up at all, 2, you rip it up as normal, or 3, you rip it up and then tyre pack it, with tractor tyres which meens you get the grip you need, but it might be to much. Again its a fine line. You never rip up the inside going in, if you do that you are asking for trouble thats why you never see it.
  4. I have no complaints, we were pretty much beaten in all departments tonight, the track was the same for both sides, Swindon Gated and wanted it more, i like all poole fans am very dissapointed, but its one meeting, and the new boys still havnt really had the chance to get to grips with the track but might be the wake up call the team want. I think this is a meeting and result we should take a lot from and hopefully learn from. And i think it would be pretty safe to say it wont happen again,. Josh looked pretty sore in the pits and James has a lot of bruising. Swindon did well, and fair play to them. I did say dear old uncle Rosco brings his side down and they would be ready, except in the main ours didnt turn up.
  5. Glyn will be there from 8.00 he will have that track in good shape. yes he will have to put water down. But its still quite chilly in the evening so he wont be pouring water on after 4 pm. He will probably do a light run about 5.30 6. Then at intervals during the meeting as required.
  6. Agreed, the only thing thats held Kyle back is his injuries. Hopefully, this season he will stay clear and regain his confidence. paid 14 the other day is a good starting point..
  7. The only reason Spanner is a better rider because he's had the breaks abroad. Kyle would go abroad to ride in poland, 2nd tier, but he wasnt gurranteed rides, but he went. often he would go and not get any.
  8. Then you shouldnt have. Never try and chase more. He was no price when he became world champ, that was enough for me. The bookies totally overlooked him at Cardiff. They can get it wrong. And when they do like you and me, you jump on it..
  9. Who's MS ? Clearly you are not a fan of Kyle's. If he stays injury free he could well finish on a 6 average.. Where's had he not been so unlucky with his injuries and nearly died of Sepsis he would have been banging around the 7 point mark. Who saw him more you or poole fans ?
  10. Thats your opinion, you clearly have a short memory of things and races Chris has produced. But has Kildemand been a world champion. NO.... did you back him at 20/1 when he won the British GP, NO. I had a good little touch thanks, why, because i really had faith in him and what he could and can do. Those that have knocked Chris will eat there words, believe me. Had you had to cope with his personal problems his injuries and other problems you would be running for the hills, Well, crawling anyway.. Im pleased you said you will back him as a team member when he returns, clearly, he's not your cup of T.
  11. Defeatist attitude mate, you should be backing him not selling him down the river..
  12. I think many people will be swallowing there words when Chris returns mate. Having watched his meeting over the w'end he looked a lot more like the Chris of old. Many teams will struggle round Wolves this season next season and the season after. Its a specialised track, but not hard to fathom if you watch... Josh will come on this season, he has been given the responsabillity of the captaincy, and he is very proud to be our captain, and will lead by example, like Matt says, it will give Chris, when he returns a chance to just ride his bike and re-discover the old Chris Holder, and he will
  13. Personally Steve, im very happy with a point. This team is open to massive improvement, but it will not happen over night. The team has had two meetings together, and really thats not enough time to gell. As Josh said in y'days Echo, the team is capable of a lot better. Tomorrow night the track should be a hell of a lot better, given Glyn told me last week the track was a quogmire when he got in on Weds morning. What sleep i do get i wont be losing any, and when Chris returns that will give the side a hell of a boost. Early days. We certainly shouldnt take Swindon lightly tomorrow night. the boys will have to assert there authority from the get go, as Rosco always comes to us prepared.. Its also early days for Glyn as well, but when we get the settled conditions, he will work on the principal of home advantage. Glyn is very good at what he does he's a thinker, and i have total faith in him. It will all come together. Patience is a vertue...
  14. Mate, he should have been banned about a week ago for his inaproprate language on here. Clearly, it seems to me unless you are a poole fan it doesnt sit.
  15. We've only just started mate. i would like to think its an off night, he rode ok in Poland y'day.
  16. Kildemands a class rider mate, pleased he put the push bike away earlier when it apparantly took him two laps to get passed James..
  17. Its no excuse i know steve, but Brady had a hard meeting in Leszno y'day. He will learn to adapt. There are not to many meetings on a Sunday then fly back for ours on a Monday.
