Tee hee hee love it . After the depths of despair of the 2013 season , gubbed every week while the bridesmaids at the other end of the M8 were just coming up short . This is looking like a very interesting and exciting side we're building .

It's common knowledge that it's every young rider's dream to ride for Glasgow , he's only wanting to live that dream
-
Watching him on a couple of occasions at Glasgow last year , it certainly looked like he was ready for retirement
-
The symbiotic nature of the relationship between our two clubs have seen numerous riders cross the great divide . Even the great Charlie Monk went over to the darkside at the end of his career . Why shouldn't we offer credibility to ex-Monarchs rider's cv's ?

oh dear

Tis indeed , actually i should really apologise . I don't really give a toss whether the old taccy sub or the present t/r was more or less effective , i just find the whole talking down to posters on here a bit irritating . As in life , some will be more clued up on things than others , that state of affairs should not be used as a stick to beat folk with .

Haha , you think i'm in a huff . Au contraire all knowing one
-
Thanks for that , must be difficult for you having to deal with a lower level of intelligence on a daily basis on here

The old tactical rule usually meant the away number 1 riding in heat 8 . Which for us Glasgow fans in the 80.s it gave us another race to cheer Steve Lawson because we never had much else . Though i dont recall the old tactical rule ever having much bearing on the result like it can do now .

That's us telt

If we had tracks prepared fairly and not just to suit the home team , and in some cases not even all of the home team , then we would be watching entertaining racing and certain grey issues in the rule book would not be so much of an issue . Watching processional racing on bare or inconsistant tracks is a bigger threat to our sport than the t/r or riders riding for multiple clubs .

Erm David Bellego ....... there is previous history with this nonsense

What a nasty , poisonous little thread , even by BSF's standards . Somebody can come on here and attempt to kick start a debate, among like minded individuals, about the more outlandish practices in our sport - and what does he or she get in responce ? The jackbooted playground bullies wading in to run he or she out of Dodge with jibes of " Liar , Liar " ringing in his or her ears . Now i don't know the opening poster , or the speedway challenged acquaintances . But it was an interesting wee story to start a debate . Whether it was fiction or not , i don't really care . But surely the responce it got was completely unnecessary .

Why are Monarchs fans so obsessed with our obsession ?
-
And maybe with another title badge in his back pocket , like last time
-
Not obsessed at all , now excuse me till i go and stick pins in my Craig Cook voodoo doll
-
But to be fair WK , Sky have to give the likes of Lakeside , Eastbourne and Belle Vue their share of airtime . Whereas with only a handful of PL meetings , they can avoid our duff tracks
-
I know it's not the be all and end all of a season , but i'd love to track a team capable of giving that smug lot from the East a run for their money on the Track of the Year 2013 (as voted for by the drunken toilet attendant at the promoters conference ) . Fed up with the usual drubbings cause we have riders who canny ride the place . Doesn't have to be at the level of the humiliations dealt out in 2011 , but just to get past heat 5 before rolling out the black and white hat .
-
Behave you Agreed , Theo should be snapped up as soon as possible . Scores heavy round Ashfield and gives us a scoring threat on trips to the Dump .
-
Regardless of the reasons . i'm glad Cook has decided to remain in the PL . I want to go along to my track and watch the Tigers tackle the best riders around , and Cook certainly comes into that category .
-
Dry tracks
-
Quality line up , well done the Comets promotion
-
What cheque book ?
-
Very true , but we have enough options at that end of the average scale .
-
He does indeed . Was the impressive track record holder until another useful Cumbrian relieved him off it .
