been reliably informed that it's spam issues which has resulted in yahoo , gmail etc being unwelcome . Which is fair enough

Dont be silly . I'm confident Ringwood and Thomsen will both average at least 6 this coming season
-
Why are hotmail , yahoo and gmail not allowed ? Not east coast snobbery surely
-
But you're nice

Three or even four of them could end up at Sheffield anyway Though in Tabaka's case it's unlikely he would be fit for the start of the season anyway , or i'm sure Edinburgh would have included him in their septet .

I drink beer and sleep all the way home on away trips , thought you knew that

No , that's the way it should Lioness . New season , everyone starts with a clean slate .

Pay no attention , Fred is a regular Glasgow hater .

quality bitterness

Only negativity on here is coming from non-Tigers fans , so we dont need to pay any attention to that . Highest average rider at number 1 , two lowest at reserve ( any order at 6 and 7 ) and the other four riders can ride in any position 2 to 5 . 21 years ago Nigel Crabtree arrived in Glasgow seemingly in the Autumn of his career and his average dropping . What a new lease of life he got then , here's hoping the same sort of thing happens with Mark .

Nordic / British final was at Hampden in the early seventies , Sidney

Shawfield Powderhall and my very first Southern tour took me to Canterbury , so that has special memories .

The History And Status Within The Sport Of The Bsf
Paulco replied to manchesterpaul's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Despite the negative aspects of the forum , the know alls , the bitching , the bullying . The BSF has greatly enhanced my enjoyment of speedway . Before i would go to a meeting , then go home and have no contact with speedway till the following week's meeting . Now i can come on here any time i like and communicate with fellow fans . Plus i've made some very good and long lasting friends thanks to this forum , people i would never had the pleasure of meeting otherwise . -
Been well documented elsewhere on this forum that Jason Doyle , Alex Davies and Rohan Tungate are all experiencing difficulties
-
I think the visa problems some Aussies are finding has thrown an additional spanner in the works . Where last week one or two riders might have thought about travelling to Glasgow every week , those riders will now be holding fire to see what happens next .
-
It's Pontus Aspgren who rode for Rye House last year , that's signed for Somerset . The previous poster meant Robin Aspgren who rode for Berwick last year , he's still available .
-
There's quite a speedway gathering at the ice hockey on a Saturday night in Glasgow , and the names of Doyle , Tungate and Davies were mentioned in relation to this . Though how an established rider of Doyle's calibre has problems is beyond me .
-
Interesting one this . If Doyle is forced out in 2014 , do the Rebels promotion go back cap in hand to Nick Morris and what would his reaction be ? . Though i cant understand how someone like Doyle , who has ridden over here quite a few seasons , has visa problems at all . He's proved how capable a rider he is .

And we could get Earl in the pits , and the two old women doing the commentry
-
Agreed , but sometimes the unwarranted attack on another poster has to be challenged . Hopefully this will be the year British speedway turns the corner . I'm a great believer on things being cyclical , we have the World Champion - lets hope that can inspire some more of our promising young riders to make the next leap and begin to take us back to the strength we had in the late seventies and early eighties .

Dear me . This nastiness should have been sent by PM , so the rest of us didn't have to read it . Totally over the top and uncalled for I've scoured the ice hockey thread , Gustix , and i see no digressions or anything inflamatory . Back to the topic at hand . Halifaxtiger summed it up , good weather and well prepared racetracks . We don't need much more than that to give us an entertaining experience at the speedway
-
If this does turn out to be indeed the case , then well done whoever it was that done their homework at Berwick . But we shall see once the season gets underway .

For many visiting fans , with Peterborough racing on a Tuesday night , a Wednesday night at Owlerton would be perfect . A wee midweek mini tour up and down the A1
