Everyone was enjoying it immensely cheers. Great atmosphere. Again, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Thanks for all your concern though. -

That’s the spirit 😁 -
Sheffield v Kings Lynn 10/4/25

But that’s the issue with Kings Lynn for me. There’s been nothing to suggest they should be any different. Lawson maybe but he’s getting long in the tooth so expecting him not to regress is probably unfair. Lynn are packed with so so riders there’s very little sparkle there or a rider or two you hope is going to suddenly blossom in to a top line rider. It’s all a bit meh for me. -
Gotta go for a home win here. Really not sure about Belle Vue away from the NSS. Leicester by 10 for me.
-
I’d earmarked Leicester as one I was confident of winning at. Emil, Doyle, Brennan and Dan all fly around there usually. Wonder if this has put a spoke in the pigeon..

Ipswich v Belle Vue 27th March KOC 2nd leg

Just looking at that still shot it’s amazing how wide Foxhall is these days. Look at the gap between the riders there! They must have taken a serious chunk of infield off because before the alterations they used to be practically touching elbows at the start line. -

Yet again you’re talking utter b0llocks. Show me a quote from one Ipswich fan that has said that 🙄 In fact, it’s been the polar opposite -

Ahh so that’s pure saltiness now coming from Belle Vue, strangely Leicester, and now rather predictably, Lynn. And we’ve won absolutely nothing yet 🙄 -
That definitely WAS the case, but I’m not sure of this years rules.
-
Then they shouldn’t have signed him in the first place! They did, so they SHOULD persevere with him and at least give him half a chance!
-
Yes we’d definitely do things differently. He’s done four meetings ffs 🙄
-
It’s a couple of meetings in you can’t be axing people already surely? Git to give him a bit more time to settle in to the season. He showed good promise for both Workington and Belle Vue last year. Still very early days.
-
There was a couple of seasons back to back where sadly, you’d now have to describe them as his peak years where every meeting these highlight heats were uploaded and he was the centre of every one of them. He was like Cowboy Cook on steroids! Spectacular to watch around Foxhall. Swept all before him at junior level and had the world at his feet. Had the talent to go right to the top but tragically, not the professionalism or the will and determination to do so.

Birmingham v Ipswich Monday 7th April

Oxford another example of this. Their “official” website has no mention of last Thursdays meeting with Ipswich, no preview of tomorrow’s meeting at Foxhall either. Amateur beyond belief. They’re not alone sadly, a few clubs have diabolical social media coverage. Sort yourselves out ffs! -
Track looks great there, plenty of material. Looks a bit different to the shale we use now? Fantastic racing. That little nudge from Fricke down the back straight which gave Cam a bit of a wobble 😅

Home win by 10 sounds about right to me. -

Ipswich have so much money that the current owner (under the same Tru umbrella) tried to flog the club to Buster Chapman a few years ago before Buster done a u turn a few weeks later. -
Ok fella you’ve made your point.
-
Oh ffs please not another one 🙄

No I don’t, I’m just going by what you lot were saying on your 2025 thread. Do you have any evidence that Chris Louis is lying and that there wasn’t in fact, priority picks in reverse finishing order? -

That’s never sat well with me either. Rewarding for failure. If you’re going to run the rising star scheme, just create a list and let everyone get on with it like they do every other rider. Would end all this nonsense stone dead. On the sponsors, Jenkins has cited that as one of the reasons he wanted to return to Ipswich. He’s gotten a couple of good local sponsors that help him tremendously. -

And he’s younger, perhaps they want to give him the experience to pull him along with the future in mind? And as I said, Harris wanted Boughen at Lynn so that explains that one. It’s not pure fantasy to suggest Jenkins was genuinely available when Ipswich got their pick but @therefused would rather just blatantly call Chris Louis a liar without any evidence to back up his claim. -

You simply don’t know that do you? You’re speculating. The explanation I’ve given above isn’t beyond the realms of possibility is it? All the Lynn fans were telling us that Boughen was requested by Harris. Is that true or not? -

But we don’t know that’s definitely the case do we? The “official” line from Louis is that they were surprised and delighted when he was still available. Yes Lynn earmarked him early doors, but nobody even Louis and Jenkins themselves knew if he’d be eligible and it was a waiting game. As soon as Lynn’s team started to fall in to place and they knew Harris was going to be at reserve, perhaps their target changed? We know the links between Harris and Boughen so MAYBE Lynn chose Boughen instead with Harris’ input? Oxford had a pick before us and Jenkins is clearly a stronger rider than Killeen (at the moment), but the way the Oxford manager makes some bizarre decisions is it really that much of a surprise that he’d pick Killeen over Jenkins? None of his decisions make an ounce of sense let’s be brutally honest. People are always gonna have their suspicions on this but they might be wrong. We’ll never know for sure will we. -

I never said the promotors were lying. I’m just stating my opinion that riders being forced to ride somewhere because they’ve been picked is a farce that shouldn’t happen. Every rider should make the decision where they want to ride. He should have been a rising star by the way because he was on the list.
