  1. Hawkins is right there. When you look at the Oxford side they don’t look a bad side at all so a few riders have underperformed. They’ve all had good meetings, but unfortunately for Oxford very few have had them at the same time. Doyle has filled his boots with two huge scores in Poland and Sweden, so absolutely no excuses now. He needs to put in a match winning score at Oxford after the tripe he served up at Belle Vue.
  2. Not so sure I think they’ve got every chance personally. Yes they’ll have some passengers, but I think the top three will have a point to prove away from the NSS and will have a determination to see it through. They certainly won’t be as bad as last time that’s impossible.
  3. He’s winding you up Gav don’t bite. I’m sure Ouch is his alter ego, sensible reasonable Mike, Troll Ouch, but sometimes the mask slips..
  4. We’ll get closer than that in the B fixture here. The reserves won’t have a night like tonight again. More than confident of beating anyone over two legs all things being equal.
  5. Well done Birmingham. Great to see Kenny have a good meeting after a tough season for him so far. He’s such a talent but his progress has stalled somewhat this year. Maybe not the best move for him.
  6. Sack the Ipswich team manager he’s useless 😁
  7. Aces given themselves a great chance of the bonus now at Foxhall.
  8. Not a great meeting tbh but the NSS very high standards but to be fair, very hot day and that will have affected the track. Belle Vue very comfortable. Makes the bonus interesting next week.
  9. You don’t think Doyle is struggling with injury? Interesting. Jenkins needs to take time out. Was already injured and now made it worse. He’s doing himself no favours by trying to ride through it. Dan’s clutch issues hasn’t helped either obviously
  10. Bonus point the order of the day. Need no more than a 10 point defeat.
  11. Never looked in doubt from heat two onwards. Very comfortable for the Aces. Top three too much to deal with.
  12. Another one using that injury excuse! They’re all in on it it’s a conspiracy I tells ya! šŸ˜šŸ™„
  13. They’re riding whilst unfit, four of the seven. that’s not making excuses it’s stating a fact!
  14. Well yes of course, everyone from Ipswich including the team manager is making it all up obviously. The whole team is 100% fit and firing šŸ™„
  15. 48-42 Lidsey drops few home points along with the top two. Those three will see them home as only Emil will realistically trouble them. Doyle isn’t fit but even if he were, he’s lacked pace here for a few years now. Still traps well but gets swallowed up quite quickly.
  16. He’s been woeful and scored a single point last time out against Lynn
  17. SHOULD be a routine away victory but will make a prediction nearer the time. Riders have a few meetings to negotiate first.
  18. Emil seems to be following the same path as last year. Took a while to get going in both Poland and here last year with mechanical issues and the same has happened this year. Something seems to click mid-season though when he’s suddenly riding a rocket ship! Brennan is also showing good signs of a return to form after suffering a dip. Has had good recent meetings both here and Poland.
  19. Tall order to repeat the cup success here with the team still undercooked as the manager points out in the preview. Just need to keep ticking.along until the riders get back to full fitness so anything close enough to get the bonus at Foxhall will do. It’s not important to finish top as we all know, but it’s still nice to do so.

  21. That fourth bend is the one that has been given the most increased banking and you can see it working brilliantly here. Ellis too has used that fourth bend by the fence to good effect in recent meetings too
  22. He did you’re correct. Last he spoke about it a couple of months ago,he was struggling with timelines to get the riders competing in the actual event, and the experienced top class riders who he wants to attend also, to all be there at the same time. He wants the likes of Doyle and Emil there to help the youngsters and give them advice. He was working hard on a resolution to get all the pieces of the jigsaw together. Haven’t heard anything since.
  23. For what it’s worth, Dean machine is correct what he’s saying here about changes this winter. People will be sceptical, fair enough. But in Chris Louis’ report after last winters AGM, he also alluded to there being the major changes from next season, ā€œdrasticā€ changes. We’ll just have to wait and see what those are.
