𤮠Christ you really are pathetic. Cringeworthy.

Not sure I agree with that. Foxhall was his biggest strength. He was generally poor everywhere away but at Foxhall he could often be a match winner. Took some huge scalps beating the leagues best riders on occasions. In 22 averaged comfortably more at home than Barker, Starke and Anders Rowe, and in 23ā averaged more at home than Rew, Dan Thompson and Riss.

I agree, and Hilly is correct, riders will inevitably end up where they want to go. Jenkins has all but admitted that Birmingham āpickedā him but he refused to go there. Kings Lynn also wanted him but he refused their advances also, the Lynn fans will tell you that. Rob Lyon was openly telling them that Jenkins would be targeted for their rising star berth. An Oxford fan talking to Jenkins, at Oxford, is obviously going to be told what they want to hear. Heās not going to tell an Oxford supporter that he didnāt want to be there is he. The lad wanted a return to Ipswich (and has stated his reasons for it) and dug his heels in to get his move. Jenkins is arguably the strongest rising star on the Premiership list, there is absolutely no way on earth that THREE clubs (Birmingham, Kingās Lynn, Oxford) all ignored him and left the fourth choice club (Ipswich) to seemingly win the lottery. Nobody believes that surely. The draft picks are a nonsense, no rider should be forced to ride anywhere and Iām personally glad that some have called that out and got the rides they wanted. But I agree with you 100%, why theyāre still pretending that this stupid draft order picking is a thing and playing the supporters for fools Iāve no idea. āBig changesā for 2026 apparently (yes I know weāve heard that before) so I expect this to be dropped this time next year.

Ipswich had no right of retention on Jenkins because he wasnāt Ipswichā rising star last year. Jenkins was back on the rising star list for 2025 and was available to Oxford before Ipswich due to the positions they finished in the table. So we have to believe that Oxford, having two Cheetahs riders available to them, chose a championship reserve on a championship average of 3.95, over their 3rd heatleader and clearly superior rider, on a 6.37 average? Thatās not even slightly realistic come on. The fact is if Jenkins wanted to be at Spires next year then heād be there as their rising star itās as simple as that.

https://ipswichwitches.co/2025-signing-jordan-jenkins/ When riders sign on, thereās always a PR spin. But if he didnāt really want to be at Ipswich and would rather be elsewhere, that is the most OTT PR spin Iāve ever seen! Jenkins was wanted at Birmingham, but he refused to go there and he dug his heels in to get his move to Ipswich. Oxford also had a priority pick over Ipswich. Would Oxford seriously have picked Killeen over Jenkins if they had that choice? Not buying that one for a second. The fact is Jenkins wasnāt an option for Oxford either because he was going to Ipswich and only Ipswich. Oh, and if anyone knows the true facts here, Arch Stanton surely does! š

Ā£2 increase? Has that ever happened before? I know Leicester have increased their admission but thatās by the standard Ā£1 which is the norm, canāt remember a Ā£2 increase before? Leicester Ā£23 btw so better value. Ā£276 also for a season ticket that is only for the 12 league meetings. 12 league meeting at full Ā£25 is Ā£300, so youāre only saving Ā£24. Not even enough for one full free meeting! Thatās terrible value for money and poor from Sheffield. You do get a fiver off the first KOC round for balance, and same again IF they make it to the semi finals, but thatās still awful value for money.

There is no such thing as a rider being āsackedā after October 31st. Every rider becomes a free agent after this date, and is then free to negotiate terms with anyone they choose. Likewise, every promotion are free to negotiate with anyone they choose to assemble a team of seven riders for the new season. They can be any seven riders, as long as the septet falls below an agreed points limit. Just because a rider(s) has ridden for a certain team that season, doesnāt mean they have any right to a team place the following year. Thatās all self explanatory and common sense. To most people.

I was there also. It was also the night Ipswichā 3rd strongest home rider (Ellis) crashed in his opening ride and took no further part in the meeting. Becker, and the rest of the Leicester riders had an easy evening.

Youāre all wasting your time Iām afraid. They wonāt have it that it can possibly be anything other than the rider that walked out who is totally to blame. Kings Lynn and the bloke that runs it are of course totally blameless. It had nothing to do with them, obviously.
-
No they didnāt. Not this year.
-
He probably does, yes!

How many years has Musielak been riding in the UK? How many of those years did he go AWOL? All you Lynn fans can stick your fingers in your ears and go blah blah blah and blame everyone else til the cows come home. The fact is heās never been seen as anything other than a loyal rider in the UK for Donkeys years until he rocked up at the Norfolk circus. As for your āstable environmentā comment, LOL.
-
Yes he has.

Fraser Bowes has signed for Workington.

If you dislike the fans then you dislike Poole. How do you separate them?

āWe like to do things by the bookā if that is a sly dig at Ipswich then heās just made himself look more daft. As said above, Morris has confirmed the points limit was agreed a month ago during meetings leading up to the AGM. If Ipswich choose to then reveal their team before the conference then quite frankly, thatās none of Tolleyās business or anyone elseās come to that. Quit the jealous salty snide remarks and concentrate on building your own team that the Birmingham supporters can enjoy watching.

That seems pretty desperate! š

Paid 8 and three paid double figure scores in his last four visits, and heās FIFTH in our averages.. Have to be targeting two league victories there.
-
For a 5-6 point middle order rider, absolutely he does!
-
Itās a solid enough team, but I agree with an earlier poster, not sure itās a play off one and itāll depend on the make up of the Oxford team for that 4th spot. This is probably Ipswichā best away fixture. Emil and Doyle drop very few points here, Ellis goes well here and now so does Brennan. Itās actually Kingās best away track also so this will be by far their biggest home test.

Every rider that signs comments on how much Ipswich is the most professional club theyāve ridden for. Not some of the riders, literally ALL of them. thatās no coincidence. Everything that Chris Louis does is to a high professional standard, from insisting not only on the now mandatory team kevlars, but also matching bike livery and fork covers that some clubs donāt bother with, To hiring professional photographers for pre-season photo shoots in a studio and making sure the social media accounts are properly run. He also makes sure every rider is paid bang on time. Heās hired people (at his own expense) who are experts in their field, to source and recruit sponsors and partner sponsors to help fund the club and allow them to be ambitious in providing a team worth watching. It takes effort and commitment, that Chris Louis has no problem doing. If every promoter and club acted in exactly the same way and showed the same effort and commitment to the sport in this country, then the sport here would be in a much healthier position. Any criticism of Ipswich speedway is wrong, and completely misguided.

And here he is. Took him all of 20 minutes for his anti Ipswich bullsh!t. Bit slow actually!! Expected better.
