  1. Christ you don’t half talk some boll0cks! You’ve been made to look a pillock because you didn’t do any basic research on Harris’s performances at Ipswich before coming out with your crock of sh!te. At least be man enough to own it.
  2. Why be an ar*e, Roger? Not everybody is an anorak who will find the right website, then delve through the menus and sub-menus to find the written rules and regulations! Most people just don’t have the time either hence asking the question(s) on here. You clearly do and find it “easy”so help with the questions or don’t it’s your choice, but show a little humility eh?
  3. Exactly, bonkers. Think people should stop trying to interpret what is a rule and what isn’t anyway. Every man and his dog on here were adamant that Ipswich couldn’t use Lambert for Doyle when some suggested him because he was on an “assessed” average. Turns out they could have done after all! Who knows if Harris is eligible, wouldn’t surprise you though if he did would it?
  4. If it isn’t a rule then it’s one that should be! A rider riding for two different teams in the play offs is even more farcical than usual!!
  5. You have to tip your hat to Jason Doyle whether you like him or not. As Hawkins said last night, he’s struggled for set ups and speed in every visit there this year, and didn’t look as quick as others last night either and looked a bit vulnerable even when in front. But when the pressure was on he just wasn’t going to be denied was he? Pure guts, effort and determination not to be beaten when it really mattered. When Kurtz and Bewely briefly hit the front around there like they did here, think we all felt that was that. When they get in front they normally disappear in to the distance but Doyle was having none of it! Very intelligent riding too, cutting across and stopping the runs from the Ace’s pair at just the right times. Superb.
  6. He made his comeback by his own admission, because he had to try and earn money, even though he was struggling to see as he foolishly admitted on his website before it was quickly pulled! He also admitted in a much more recent interview, that he’s still nowhere near fit and didn’t expect to be before the season was out. Absolutely bonkers by Ipswich not to make a change this year but they MAY just get away with it. Makes you wonder how good they’d be if Riss was contributing the steady points he’s capable of and has shown in the past.
  7. Well done Ipswich throughly deserved. With all due respect, done it yet again with a 6 man team whilst carrying a rider who shouldn’t be out there. Makes the achievement all the more impressive.
  8. That the one place you probably can’t even contemplate team riding. You do that you run the risk of quickly being swallowed up yourself! It’s a track where it’s head down and open the throttle
  9. A fit Riss has been a big miss for Ipswich all year, so have their rising Stars. All ifs buts and maybes
  10. Possibly, although a team with a top two of Doyle and Sayfutdinov should never be surrendering an 18 point lead really no matter how good Belle Vue are at home. If Those two do their jobs, the other five need to produce very little between them for Ipswich to progress.
  11. As always, the devil is in the detail. He scored 5 from effectively two rides last time out. Last season of the three meetings there, he scored 13 and 9 twice, one of those meetings featured two retirements. So whilst you’re correct, three retirements and a harsh exclusion in his last few visits there shows he hasn’t had the best of luck. There’s no guarantees he won’t have poor luck tomorrow either! That’s the nature of the sport. But I think 10 from him is a decent pitch as long as he’s fit.
  12. Even being conservative they SHOULD reach 37. Emil 12, Doyle 10, 7 from King, 3 between Riss and Hume, which leaves 5 needed which Rew is more than capable of at reserve.
  13. Every club has ups and downs throughout the season. Ipswich had theirs mid season and it nearly cost them. But there’s no doubt they’re the form horse. We all had them pre-season favorites or one of them, they’re now showing it.
  14. Why don’t they just postpone both fixtures this week then, and run them Monday and Thursday next week? After all, we’ve seen comments from plenty including a Belle Vue fan saying we all want to see the best riders in these showpiece events so give Doyle a few days rest and let him ride in both fixtures next week. I’m sure the Belle Vue fans will agree with that?..
  15. I agree on the weather being a bit of a leveller. That I do agree with. As for the second leg, again it’s an even bigger loss for Ipswich if Doyle doesn’t ride. He’s phenomenal around Foxhall and irreplaceable. He’s tough and may declare himself fit, but then how fit will he actually be? It’ll be interesting to see. If the rain hits hard this evening, Thursday may well be the first leg.
  16. It was effectively 5 points from 2 rides as you full well know. Yes he missed the gate in his first ride and packed up at the back with machinery issues, but then looked fast in his next two and was clearly faster than Bewely in his fourth ride when he steamed under him and Bewely dropped it for which Doyle got ridiculously excluded. Let’s not start the “he’s no loss anyway” stuff because it just makes you look daft. And as for the second highlighted bit, nobody is falling for that old codswallop!! Why do fans do this nonsense? Make out their team is really up against it, underdogs, more disadvantaged than the opposition with injury, when it’s blatantly not true and they’re clearly strong favourites? It’s bizarre
  17. That’s a massive blow to Ipswich. Doyle is irreplaceable really particularly at Foxhall where he remains absolutely dominant. Across all fixtures this season his home average is over 11, GSA over 10 and a half. Almost a point more than Emil!
  18. It isn’t assessed, that’s not what that word means. It’s his official average that he achieved on track. If they want to play by those rules then his average should have been REASSESSED to an average that aligns to his current ability. And no he can’t guest as per the regulations I agree.
  19. Yes the latest declarations have Robert Lambert on an average of 7.81, how can that be an assessed average??
