I was responding to colsimmo’s remark that Perry should have been replaced at the start of the “league” fixtures, which at that point would have been like for like.
See, that’s my point. We don’t normally win at home by big margins. Our bigger scores were mainly due to crap performances from the opposition. Unusually in Edinburgh’s case and Oxford and Scunthorpe have no real substance this year.
Of course I get the home advantage thingy. It takes me back to my original comment. Glasgow is a racers track with numerous lines and is nigh on impossible to prepare for home team advantage.
I do understand all that and I didn’t say he would achieve a better score at Poole but just that he is very much more on the up than any of the guests available.
