  1. No they wouldn't, the bloody clock had packed up by then as well.
  2. SCB amendment to the regulations in early May, apparently it's to allow riders 2013 scores to be added to the rolling averages for those riders who didn't ride in the PL/EL in 2014.
  3. Perhaps its about time they did away with the practice beforehand then
  4. We can use guests providing Allen stays at no 1 in the averages
  5. It's hard to say whether Belle Vue were good or Lynn dreadful, probably a bit of both but it wasn't a good meeting and their was a blue groove visible after 7 heats which isn't good, ZAGAR looked tremendous until he missed a gate and their was little passing especially in the second half of the meeting. Lynn just don't seem to be cutting it at the moment and all their top riders appear to be struggling.
  6. [quote name="topsoil" post="2604966" timestamp="1430073318" Nicki Barrett has always been good around Glasgow. I'm actually quite surprised Glasgow haven't snapped him up yet. On a favourable average for what he would score there each week. I don't think Workington would like it much bearing in mind he is riding for them at present.
  7. I rather think you are are right, didn't Kings Lynn win the award last year and at present the track is pants
  8. And since when has the BSPA ever been consistent
  9. The headsets were not any better than the phones apparently and Jim Lawrence,s mobile was turned off for the meeting (FIM regs) The Referees box wasn't enclosed and was open to the main arena so the noise was ridiculous. Thankfully a few of us now know the truth
  10. You could always watch a big Rockets defeat at Peterborough, you will at least see some passing.
  11. Because making himself look an arse is his full time occupation, you must have surely noticed by now.
  12. According to the rules He will be on 7.26 until completing 4H & 4A which should be Sheffield away on the 14th May, he should then get a new average which will be effective 7 days later.
  13. I seem to recall you said much the same last week against Ipswich and look how that finished. Is this match being covered by updates
  14. Cracking result for the Panthers and I bet Ged Rathbone was one happy man walking out of the stadium last night
  15. Lovely city and well worth a visit but the track is dire
  16. Both the incident where Batchelor knocks off Pedersen and the tapes going up unevenly are all covered in this weeks star but as others have said not necessarily by Oakes.
  17. I can tell you that Jim Lawrence,s view of the start line was as expected (above and looking down) so he wouldn't have seen the tapes going up unevenly, his replay view from another angle was also high looking down and didn't give a clear front view that most fans got.(why he only got that view I don't know) Doyle was excluded because of instructions given on green light starting at the riders briefing by Steele and Morris and on the fact he made a big jump at the gate rather than a small one, to be fair I didn't have a problem with Doyle,s exclusion he shouldn't have moved until the light went out and he clearly did, no one else had any problems and in fact the rest of the GL starts went without incident. FIM rules allow for a flag start in the event of a starting gate & GL failure so it could have been worse.
  18. Like a lot on here you slated Jim Lawrence for his handling of the meeting yet it appears he did very little wrong in the great scheme of things, Oakes did a good job of explaining how he wasn't to blame. This shambles was predominantly down to the crap track, but whether Olsen manages to sidestep responsibility remains to be seen.
  19. Happy with most decisions as long as it's within the rules, would be helpful if all these discounts were properly documented on the appropriate GSA but I appreciate the BSPA and clear and upfront are not words that are generally seen in the same sentence.
  20. The fixture list isn't compiled by Peterborough
  21. Garrity,s final MA from 2014 is 6.75 according to the BSPA Not sure where you have 6.19 from?
  22. I can only assume he replaces Stead as the figures don't balance for Belego.
  23. I agree, certainly the best Sky meeting so far, shame Lakeside slipped away after a good start, it doesn't bode well for them now if they struggled at Wolves. Kennett was awful, what has happened to the bloke.
