  1. Probably lack of space if the amount of vehicles and gear they brought to Peterborough last week is anything to go by.
  2. It's interesting that Lindgren this year is like a carbon copy of Woffinden last year, I am wondering if some of the riders are doing too much but the new heat formula certainly makes it a lot more difficult to keep knocking in the big scores. Lindgren isn't the only one struggling, Andersen, Batchelor, AJ, Holder, Bjerre and even Iversen are also not producing big scores and averages this year
  3. Excellent signing, young, talented and on his way up in the sport.
  4. Well I have only been once and that was enough, I dont need to mention the racing because everyone saw what it was like live on Sky. I think once a year on sky is too much, Wolves v Coventry was the match to be at, the sky scheduling this year is awful.
  5. To be fair I don't think the track being slick was the problem, the track was fine and had plenty of dirt on it, it was just the Panthers couldn't buy a gate and not for the first time didn't present the opposition with any problems. MPT didn't have any problems passing did he.
  6. Exactly, most of the riders mentioned on here by supporters cannot do PL because of visa restrictions, GSA being to high, too many clashes between leagues or price themselves out of reach, then you get ones who just plainly are not interested. It's a minefield and at the moment riders call the tune because of the shortage. Just watch for the stories later on about clubs losing vast amounts because of riders demands.
  7. But despite the BSPA not issuing a new GSA & Declaration issue (office closed over weekend) Greenwood isn't in a PL team so cannot guest under 17.7.1.3
  8. Plenty of interest in this match with the British 125 Championship taking place before the main fixture and an MDL fixture afterwards. In addition the Panthers give a debut to new reserve Rafal Konopka and Brady Kurtz returns as guest at no 1. Team news to follow.
  9. The inside stayed good because of the grip, the circuit was incredibly fast last night with 11 of the 15 races providing race times under 60 seconds (TR is 58.4 by Kasprazak) and both the Lamberts did 58.8 in heat 1 and 5 respectively. Generally our times are around second or two slower and I think it was this that took the edge off the racing early on, having said that I thought it was a great meeting and the latter stages were very good, Panthers did just enough to win but Glasgow were good value for a point. Crowd looked down from normal but boosted by the kids scheme and they seemed to be everywhere, lets hope a few want to come again, at least the club are trying. Certainly better than the tripe that was served up on Monday and from the comments in the pits that wasn't only my thought. Ronnie Russell was present, meeting referee was Graham Flint and the steward was Mick Bates. Yes I noticed that as did a couple of friends, not the best advert for the start girls
  10. I don't see why, they have both just gone downhill since the start of the season. Fricke cannot double up (visa)and Lakeside (EL) can only have 2 D/U riders per team (Kennett and Lawson) and Bech rides Poland as well.
  11. Poole, Coventry and even Kings Lynn are light years ahead of the rest but Poole are going to walk it, nothing changes. Except the EL and the supporters attending keep getting smaller.
  12. No he isn't Smith,s June GSA is 6.60, Howe,s GSA is 7.41
  13. Very poor judgement and clearly fans are voting with their feet, didn't look to be more than a few hundred from the TV cameras.
  14. Oh dear, Arena and rain just doesn't mix well, poor meeting exacerbated by some poor refereeing I am no fan of Kennett but that was a dreadful decision to exclude him. Lindgren was just awful didn't look interested at all. I agree with others Belle Vue v Coventry was the match tonight, who the hell decides these crap decisions
  15. Just out of interest have you given Glasgow any stick for signing Howe whilst Sargeant awaits an average or do you just have a downer on Peterborough.
  16. Any weather updates would be very welcome as travelling up for this match.
  17. Forecast isn't to clever, I hope it's just showers if we get any rain. Should at least ensure we don't get covered in dust.
  18. Well Roynon gets his chance tomorrow at Rye House to show Panthers what they are missing.
  19. Not been decided yet, certainly not until the conclusion of the match at Rye House tomorrow although I certainly expect at least one of them to be higher than Allen for July
  20. Morris wasn't dropped ref poor form, he was dropped so they could sign Kurtz so I would say he will be keen to do well.
  21. Panthers face their third trip to Plymouth this year as they chase a QF place against Somerset in the KOC, original guest Barker is ruled out when crashing in the British Final so go with RR instead. Panthers only hold a two point lead from the first leg so more away success is required if they are to go through, Dale Allitt is team manager tonight. PLYMOUTH Kyle Newman, Jack Holder, Morten Risager, Todd Kurtz, Ryan Fisher, Roland Benjo, Sam Simota. PETERBOROUGH Rider replacement for Olly Allen, Lewis Blackbird, Robert Lambert, Michael Palm Toft, Ulrich Ostergaard, Ollie Greenwood, Ashley Morris (guest).
  22. Might have been different if Kerr and Lindgren had turned up as well.
