  1. Didn't believe it the first time I read it
  2. I don't think signing Lambert helped either, made your tail even worse.
  3. Didn't present much of a problem to Thomsen, he gave the Rockets pair 15m start in heat 8 and passed them both on the first lap, now that's something you don't see very often at Rye.
  4. All the competition semis and finals had dates allocated to them specifically, done I might add by John Campbell at the start of the season so it's somewhat surprising that this issue has again arisen this year.
  5. Good team performance and the damage was done in the first few heats, very impressive showing from Grondal who hadn't seen the place before but everyone chipped in with good points and the result never looked in doubt. Crowd didn't look very good and Peterborough fans accounted for a third of them.
  6. This could be very tight, should be interesting and I am coming up for this one, any weather updates locally would be appreciated.
  7. Nothing on the Rye web site regarding this although I did read that Bowen got hurt at Berwick, why is Maassen missing.
  8. Peterborough haven't had a domestic fixture on a Saturday for years so it will interesting to see what the crowds like. A bit of rain overnight but the forecast is ok for the rest of the day.
  9. I think Foxhall is a lovely little stadium and provides good facilities and great viewing, it's shame I cannot say the same for the racing which is generally poor.
  10. I don't think Sheffield are as good now without the advantage of a big hitter for Stead.
  11. On this occasion it's more about availability of the riders which is why it's Saturday.
  12. Very good GP and some excellent racing. Woffinden now putting some daylight between him and the rest, some of his overtakes are breathtaking.
  13. Knowing Ulrich he probably doesn't want to let the team down, unlike some riders he actually cares, full credit too him.
  14. Local weather updates would be appreciated as I anticipate a fair few travelling from Peterborough
  15. I wouldn't take too much notice of Rocketpants the blokes got a degree in complete twaddle
  16. Lambert certainly doesn't miss Monday's match at the Showground, that's why it's a 3.00pm start
  17. Anyone starting this year with an EL GSA of 6.00 and above is ineligible to ride or guest in the PL this year, as we subsequently found out with Thorsell. North was 6.57.
  18. What the need is to go back to a decent race formula that provides proper and accurate match averages which are fair to everyone including the reserves.
  19. I think you will find a lot of promoters post on here Neil, most of them under pseudonyms. See the latest Peterborough news Shawn
  20. I rather think that comment sums it all up nicely
  21. Pretty straightforward actually basically the race starts with 3 riders. 18.15.7 In order that a Rider takes the "minimum" number of rides, then changes must be made to a Heat Line up, (excluding any nominated or Highest Scorers Heat) or sufficient Heats must start with no replacements.
  22. It depends on how the team is put together, but he would be one of the first to get my vote, I have been very impressed with Simon this year, his attitude, dedication to the team and commitment is spot on.
  23. I rather suspect Humphrey already knew that.
