  3. Absolute rubbish, and as others have said if Lawrence felt one of the riders was at fault he would have gone no matter who he was.

EL needs to run on 2/3 nights that the PL don't or vice versa that would cut out all the crap with doubling up riders missing due to clashes straight away, Monday's and Wednesday's would be the obvious choice allowing for foreign leagues, GP,s and FIM meetings etc. Allowing anyone to D/U would help as well, if teams want to use a big allowance on one rider why not as long as the conversion factor was accurate, perhaps a mean average across the leagues with the riders that do it could be calculated and used the following year.
  5. Changes once teams are declared shouldn't be allowed, I can think of a couple of senior referees who don't allow it and that's clearly correct other than for injury or illness. Allen is just making excuses for what was a poor performance, Jesus when you get beaten at home by Lakeside surely things cannot get any worse.

  7. I agree with the others just a racing incident, both riders going for it and OSTERGAARD lifts and they tangle down the back straight. Interesting that the same web site viewed the recent accident at Scunthorpe as accidental, funny that.

  10. To the best way of my knowledge and belief referees generally do not exclude riders under the 2 minute rule when they are under power on the track and going towards the tapes. The only exception I can think off is the referee who excluded everyone this year who wasn't ready to race, whether at the start line or not on a sky match this year and made himself and the sport look ridiculous.
  11. Which begs the question why therefore is the Lynn track these days complete and utter pants. I thought considering the problems with the weather the GP was very good and was certainly one of the better ones so far this year, the racing was very good with passing in most heats.
  12. Well regular rain hasn't exactly stopped Vojens staging GP,s or other big meetings, it's very unusual for it not to rain at that place. And of course Vojens as well.
  13. Could be interesting, because suspended by the SCB in the rules provides a facility only and teams missing one rider 2-5 by average are entitled to RR only.

  17. Has an EL GSA less than 6 and started the season with an EL GSA less than 6, his current average converted comes in under Lewis Blackbirds average and was confirmed by referee Tony Steele.
  18. Difficult to say having not witnessed it but I have seen a few accidents at the conclusion of the race and a lot of near misses over the years. The fact the referee has fined and reported Tungate Indicates to me this wasn't viewed as accidental.
  19. Interesting viewpoint from Ipswich in their match report but Scunthorpe haven't posted one yet so hard to make comparisons.
  20. A bit easy for the Panthers if I am honest, I expected more from Sheffield but KENNETT and GARRITY aside they were poor.
