Peterborough haven't had a domestic fixture on a Saturday for years so it will interesting to see what the crowds like. A bit of rain overnight but the forecast is ok for the rest of the day.

Ipswich V Edinburgh Lcsf 3-9-15 @ 7-30pm

I think Foxhall is a lovely little stadium and provides good facilities and great viewing, it's shame I cannot say the same for the racing which is generally poor. -

I don't think Sheffield are as good now without the advantage of a big hitter for Stead. -
On this occasion it's more about availability of the riders which is why it's Saturday.

Very good GP and some excellent racing. Woffinden now putting some daylight between him and the rest, some of his overtakes are breathtaking. -
I wouldn't take too much notice of Rocketpants the blokes got a degree in complete twaddle

Lambert certainly doesn't miss Monday's match at the Showground, that's why it's a 3.00pm start -

Anyone starting this year with an EL GSA of 6.00 and above is ineligible to ride or guest in the PL this year, as we subsequently found out with Thorsell. North was 6.57. -
What the need is to go back to a decent race formula that provides proper and accurate match averages which are fair to everyone including the reserves.

I rather think that comment sums it all up nicely -
Belle Vue -v- Swindon Monday 17th August
bigcatdiary replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Pretty straightforward actually basically the race starts with 3 riders. 18.15.7 In order that a Rider takes the "minimum" number of rides, then changes must be made to a Heat Line up, (excluding any nominated or Highest Scorers Heat) or sufficient Heats must start with no replacements. -

It depends on how the team is put together, but he would be one of the first to get my vote, I have been very impressed with Simon this year, his attitude, dedication to the team and commitment is spot on. -
I rather suspect Humphrey already knew that.

Not quite, he will have an effective average 7 days after he completes 4H & 4A.

Absolute rubbish, and as others have said if Lawrence felt one of the riders was at fault he would have gone no matter who he was. -
Elite League 2016 - What Is Required?
bigcatdiary replied to 1 valve's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
EL needs to run on 2/3 nights that the PL don't or vice versa that would cut out all the crap with doubling up riders missing due to clashes straight away, Monday's and Wednesday's would be the obvious choice allowing for foreign leagues, GP,s and FIM meetings etc. Allowing anyone to D/U would help as well, if teams want to use a big allowance on one rider why not as long as the conversion factor was accurate, perhaps a mean average across the leagues with the riders that do it could be calculated and used the following year. -
Leicester V Lakeside Sat 1st August
bigcatdiary replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Changes once teams are declared shouldn't be allowed, I can think of a couple of senior referees who don't allow it and that's clearly correct other than for injury or illness. Allen is just making excuses for what was a poor performance, Jesus when you get beaten at home by Lakeside surely things cannot get any worse. -
Ipswich web site not updates And for the record I think the texters do a cracking job on updates, I tried also to be fair when I did it for 3 years.

I agree with the others just a racing incident, both riders going for it and OSTERGAARD lifts and they tangle down the back straight. Interesting that the same web site viewed the recent accident at Scunthorpe as accidental, funny that.
