Ipswich v Wolves June 1st
bigcatdiary replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Would he hell, your team is based on King and Riss backing up the dynamic duo, when them or their replacements don’t turn up your vulnerable as proved by a solid 1-7 Wolves team, generally Batman and Robin get you home but it’s going to fail on occasions. -

Well listening to Craig Cook recently it’s clear that the Witches tried him first to replace Riss, it must have been clear to everyone that Barker wasn’t the answer but that’s the problem with top heavy teams, King and Riss were important to the teams success this year. Wolves are riding well at present and now Becker is back a very solid top five especially at fortress Monmore, and with a free scoring reserve they are currently a danger to any team. -

Laguta will improve, but not sure the rest of the team will. -

I did enjoy watching Brady on the heat 15 interview, he has obviously been watching Hawkins when he loses, another smacked arse face. Not a happy bunny. -

It’s been very clear that Keith Chapman is the boss, the final say is his, CJ and Tomalin effectively work for him

The problem we have is our heat leaders are not winning races, that’s where we are missing out, generally guests and RR are just not cutting it and Iversen isn’t performing anywhere near what was expected. That heaps pressure on the middle and bottom order who are struggling to fill the gaps, Basso, Cook and Jenkins are fine they are still learning, it’s Worrall and Andersen who need to step up their performances but at the moment both are generally struggling. After 7 defeats the team’s confidence has deteriorated and the desire just doesn’t appear to be there with several of the more experienced riders.

Well I certainly can’t.
