Rolling average explanation
bigcatdiary replied to szkocjasid's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It’s just an awful job full stop. -
But Gasser isn’t correct
-
Tungate is not only expensive but unreliable, okay around Peterborough but very inconsistent on the road. Question is when Andersen is named for this year will we see a Happy Flappy. Panthers will do well if Basso is no 4 in the averages for the start of the season.
-
But he is so popular on the foxhole terraces and he plays golf with Richie
-
I think you will find he has
-
He isn’t doing the Championship next year just Premiership
-
Interestingly the PZM run Polish Speedway not the FIM so although banned from the GP’s perhaps the PZM have bypassed the FIM by letting them race on Polish licences.
-
But the question is does Rob really want to try, I rather suspect we both know the answer.
-
I would, he looks to have a good future if putting nigh on 3 points on his starting average is anything to go by.
-
Better than your Dart throwing
-
Is that the same Andersen that isn’t riding for Panthers in 2023
-
His best riding position would be no 2 for Ipswich
-
Must be running a bit short of darts now Flappy
-
Nothing stopping clubs doing a few races after a short interval for up and coming youngsters, we were supposed to get junior matches after Premiership fixtures this year but it never happened.

Only 8 rider spaces left

Too early to say but not looking promising -
They stopped doing stats in the Peterborough Programme a few years ago and as for the reading content thats something I have suggested for years but it’s in short supply. At £3.00 I just don’t think they are worth buying, I do get a copy with my ST but if they didn’t I doubt I would buy one.
-
Didn’t get the dart comment then
-
I think most of us would just like the club to post something for a change
-
Or as someone said to me If you throw enough darts at a board one will hit the bullseye.
-
It was considered years and years ago, it’s just not big enough Theresa.
-
On the contrary most clubs make decent money on programmes and don’t think that’s likely to change as Curtis Sport prints the majority of them these days.
-
You don’t think Andersen is in the team, surely you know Flappy, most on here think you are the one really in the know.
-
It depends on the Programme though to be fair, some clubs go the extra mile while others just do the basics. I certainly don’t think a lot of them are particularly good value and most of them offer very little content.

Looking like RISS and Batch then

Plymouth Gladiators 2023

As a professional sportsman I would have thought it would be common sense for all riders to check with the SCB before taking anything, that would risk their riding status.
