Or as someone said to me If you throw enough darts at a board one will hit the bullseye.
-
It was considered years and years ago, it’s just not big enough Theresa.
-
On the contrary most clubs make decent money on programmes and don’t think that’s likely to change as Curtis Sport prints the majority of them these days.
-
You don’t think Andersen is in the team, surely you know Flappy, most on here think you are the one really in the know.
-
It depends on the Programme though to be fair, some clubs go the extra mile while others just do the basics. I certainly don’t think a lot of them are particularly good value and most of them offer very little content.

Looking like RISS and Batch then

Plymouth Gladiators 2023
bigcatdiary replied to jbell1995's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
As a professional sportsman I would have thought it would be common sense for all riders to check with the SCB before taking anything, that would risk their riding status. -
You know as well as everyone else why Howarth signed for Plymouth and it has nothing to do with trophies, it’s stuff he wants, stuff you can buy things with.
-
But that’s all it is, talk
-
Bloody hope so
-
I think many would say a lot worse
-
Can’t believe anyone else wants him
-
I don’t think so
-
Certainly my understanding as well

10.2 Match Averages are calculated, up to and including the cut off date for a specified number of applicable meetings.
-
But clubs don’t restrict do they, what they say and what they do are generally very different.

8 Chapters out of 20 are controlled by the BSPL, it’s interesting that nearly all the problems come from those 8 chapters.
-
And how on earth does a governing body control guarantees, have you never heard of sponsors or brown envelopes.
-
It would have been nice to know why the SCB made the decision re Robert Lambert when the BSPL have sole authority to approve or not on team line ups, perhaps this will be revealed in time.
-
Judging by a lot of the crap that gets posted on here I would say the exact opposite.
-
No 8 chapters of the rule book are down to the BSPL And it’s those 8 chapters which cause 99% of the problems.
-
They are normally ratified at the AGM
-
Until they confirm everything at the AGM it’s all conjecture. Even then it’s often open to interpretation by the BSPL Directors.
-
Just to hear something would be nice. Patience is something the fans have suffered all season.

That’s of course assuming you actually get racing, the track this year was disgraceful and certainly didn’t provide good racing. Hotels have gone into complete rip off mode and that coupled with outrageous ticket prices on top of this years rubbish show means the rumoured 11,000 paying customers this year will take a hit, we personally know several friends that having gone for decades are saying enough is enough and will watch it on tv in 2023. And who can really blame them.
