  1. Fundin was before my time but Briggs and Olsen were both fairly robust on first corners, Mauger was only very rarely beaten to the first corner being such a good trapper and was also very quick to pass when the opportunity arose which generally with constant pressure it invariably did. Jason Crump was another who didn’t shy away from hard first corners.
  2. Another one Xmas Eve and third between Xmas and New Year I was told.
  3. Carl has already said it isn’t someone who rode for us this year.
  4. Made the same mistake in the Fours this year as well, sold out a good 30 mins before the start
  5. Did anyone ever doubt Lambert wouldn’t be at Lynn.
  6. Indeed, although their are signs things could improve.
  7. I agree, on good equipment he is a good rider.
  8. I was told that applications were made for Schlein and Heeps as well (both declined).
  9. It’s never officially been clarified, it’s like a lot of the speedway regulations very ambiguous and subject to interpretation. This should be shown in the GSA especially the final one, so it’s clear who get the discount, it clearly doesn’t just qualify if you rode NL or the equivalent in the past, it also depends on your nationality. For example BWD rode in the NL in the past but didn’t get the discount because he rides under NZ registration in FIM events even though he holds a British passport.
  10. I agree, Lewis is a solid Championship second string/third heat leader, I am not convinced he will get any better.
  11. I do wonder about being a steal, that’s two years now he has supposedly been a steal and hasn’t.
  12. It’s been commented on by several people recently who do the deals saying some of the riders demands for 2020 are completely unrealistic. It used to be just starts and points, now its mechanics, mobiles, vans, accommodation, hotels, flights, gaurantees, lifts, drivers, clothing, engines, frames, tyres, oil, fuel, wheels & insurance, were does it end.
  13. It would be nice if these draws were done live or at the very least details provided of who did the draw and when.
  14. He did a turn at one of our end of season events and was absolutely hilarious, as you say his Swedish Black Country accent.
  15. Quite a lot of the posts on here are 100%BS , Quite a lot of the posters spew it out on a regular basis as well
  16. Good at home but poor away, pretty much par for the course for John Cook.
  17. More to the point does anyone care, although I bet their are a few who think he is on a bargain average.
