  1. I was told that applications were made for Schlein and Heeps as well (both declined).
  2. It’s never officially been clarified, it’s like a lot of the speedway regulations very ambiguous and subject to interpretation. This should be shown in the GSA especially the final one, so it’s clear who get the discount, it clearly doesn’t just qualify if you rode NL or the equivalent in the past, it also depends on your nationality. For example BWD rode in the NL in the past but didn’t get the discount because he rides under NZ registration in FIM events even though he holds a British passport.
  3. I agree, Lewis is a solid Championship second string/third heat leader, I am not convinced he will get any better.
  4. I do wonder about being a steal, that’s two years now he has supposedly been a steal and hasn’t.
  5. It’s been commented on by several people recently who do the deals saying some of the riders demands for 2020 are completely unrealistic. It used to be just starts and points, now its mechanics, mobiles, vans, accommodation, hotels, flights, gaurantees, lifts, drivers, clothing, engines, frames, tyres, oil, fuel, wheels & insurance, were does it end.
  6. It would be nice if these draws were done live or at the very least details provided of who did the draw and when.
  7. He did a turn at one of our end of season events and was absolutely hilarious, as you say his Swedish Black Country accent.
  8. Quite a lot of the posts on here are 100%BS , Quite a lot of the posters spew it out on a regular basis as well
  9. Good at home but poor away, pretty much par for the course for John Cook.
  10. More to the point does anyone care, although I bet their are a few who think he is on a bargain average.
  11. So scrap the shield and make the league 2 home and 2 away
  12. So do I , I think their is more to come from Charles, I will be disappointed if he moves on after what was a good year for him.
  13. This original match was rained off initially on the 8th April, early season competitions that result in rain offs etc should be run on the next date that team returns for a league fixture A/B, league fixtures left in limbo and with the play off date rapidly approaching soon get arranged with a little more effort and urgency especially if that team are desperate to make the play offs. Thus instances like this and Poole v Lynn would be avoided.
  14. With Newcastle v Redcar now postponed Wright and Ostergaard are surely now available for Peterborough.
  15. Exactly, It’s simple, straightforward and after a lot of years pretty much everyone understands it. So why change a winning formula.
  16. One would hope common sense would have prevailed and the riders can ride in both but I somehow doubt it.
