  1. I don’t believe everything I read on here on any threads
  2. Have you ever wondered why neither of them are saying anything themselves but are more than happy to tell you and let you do it.
  3. A really great Grand Prix, the best one this year by a country mile. Fantastic advert for the sport.
  4. Not at all but genuine new posters normally bed themselves in gently and not try to set a record for the amount of posts in a day. I think most on here know your view on Buster Chapman, you tend to mention it on every post every day. As Crump99 says it’s getting boring.
  5. Interesting that you have been a fan for years but registered this user name on the 18th December 2018.
  6. As a viewing spectacle I thought it was poor the racing was dreadful and it was mainly processional. If the two day final is kept it’s clear you need to add another reserve rider to avoid injury problems. I can understand why the organisers want to ensure the champions win it in the last race but surely a 21 heat qualifier with two semis and a final for the top four would be better, scoring 4,3,2,0 would help as well.
  7. Wolverhampton host Peterborough tonight in a battle of the two bottom sides in the current Premiership table. Wolves like Panthers have looked vulnerable in recent matches and I dare say both sides will be keen to turn around recent form. WOLVERHAMPTON: Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Jacob Thorssell, Nick Morris, Sam Masters, Kyle Howarth, Luke Becker. PETERBOROUGH: Chris Harris, Ty Proctor, Scott Nicholls, Charles Wright, Rohan Tungate, Aaron Summers, Lewis Kerr.
  8. 57.3 57.7 57.9 57.6 58.1 58.3 58.4 58.4 58.7 58.6 58.9 59.6 59.5 59.8 59.4 57.3 equalled the TR in heat 1
  9. Panthers race against the Aces for the second time at the EOES on Monday and the match will be shown live on BT sports. Belle Vue will be looking to take advantage at a track they go well at having won the opening match at Alwalton in April, but hopefully the Panthers will be looking to Win this time around after losing their last two home matches to Ipswich and Wolverhampton. Teams PETERBOROUGH : Erik Riss, Ty Proctor, Scott Nicholls, Charles Wright, Rohan Tungate, Aaron Summers & Josh Bates. BELLE VUE : Max Fricke, Jaimon Lidsey, Dan Bewley, Steve Worrall, Kenneth Bjerre, Dimitri Berge & Tero Aarnio.
  10. It’s getting the balance right between a bit slicker around the white line and a grippy outside. More often than not it’s been too grippy on the white line which makes the first half of the match a gating competition.
  11. The last promotion didn’t (on his words) lose anything over the four years he was in charge and to be fair up to recently our crowds were holding up well. Peterborough fans want and expect a competitive team, unfortunately due to injuries and other things the current team isn’t and it’s affecting our attendance as it normally does.
  12. Peterborough return to action tomorrow with R/R at 1 for the missing Hans Andersen, with Wolves aiming to get their first away points of the season. It certainly looks like a tough match for the Panthers as Wolves track a few riders who go well at the Showground. Teams PETERBOROUGH: Hans Andersen R/R, Ty Proctor, Scott Nicholls, Charles Wright, Rohan Tungate, Aaron Summers, Josh Bates.WOLVERHAMPTON: Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Jacob Thorssell, Nick Morris, Sam Masters, Kyle Howarth, Luke Becker,
  13. I think pretty dreadful sums it up well. Racing, Crowd, Excitement & Persistent Restarts due to riders trying to jump the starts. Tatum got it spot on tonight, exclude riders who move before the tapes go up, warnings are a waste of time, none of this 15 yard crap, Chuck them out, it would soon stop.
  14. We had exactly the same when Rick Frost bought Peterborough, of course Speedway is funny in that you also need someone who can put a team together, get them to work and coupled with a fair bit of luck to get trophies and as Glasgow have found out chucking money at something doesn’t always work. Glasgow certainly haven’t won much since Dickson left, seemed to me to be someone who knew how it all works.
  15. Because some people pay it., although not a lot of Peterborough fans do as it’s too expensive.
  16. It wasn’t good, track was very slick last night.
  17. Since when has common sense ever been applied in UK Speedway.
  18. It’s happened like that for years, We lost Kennett last year when he broke his arm riding in a grasstrack event prior to his first meeting. Its like a lot of rules in our rule book that needs reviewing and possibly amending but as it stands at present it’s no facility. GSA are another story, they are so complicated now I doubt anyone knows them inside out.
  19. At the end of the day the rule says no facility Thankfully on this occasion the rules were followed.
  20. Website says Aarnio, not another back door facility surely
