And in my opinion their was little passing, you obviously think otherwise. I don’t, get over it. -

As others have said it’s your own perspective, I had heard good reports about Belle Vue and to be fair I was a tad disappointed if I am honest, I wasn’t the only one in my party either. As you say it wasn’t a classic. -
Very likely.

Yes Ged and Lisa were both there

My first visit to the NSS and it looked a very tidy stadium and track, the track looked grippy early doors but it was clear it was fairly slick and all though a few on here thought the racing was good their was little passing after the first corner. Trapping was paramount as Tungate clearly showed but him apart we lacked heat winners and that’s what cost us mid meeting. The meeting was run at a good rate and we were on our way home at just after 9pm. -
It can’t happen at the moment anyway Nicholls is in the Wolves team.
-
No argument from me.
-
It should be rerun of course, Wolves should have got their finger out like Belle Vue did.

Well it wasn’t given a lot of thought was it, but to be fair most of the rule book fits that category as well. -
Peterborough v Kings Lynn Prem Mon April 22nd

And since when have refs ever been consistent, especially Carrington. But a decent meeting with a fair result, the crowd was magnificent easily our best of the season so far with a fairly full grandstand and the fifty fifty winner got £290, another season best. Supporters hut had a few programmes left but the turnstiles sold out and not a speck of dust all night on a quite warm evening which shows it can be done if prepared properly. -

You should always prepare a track properly whether rain is forecast or not, if rains arrives and it’s heavy or prolonged it’s off anyway, if it doesn’t arrive or not as much as anticipated you get dust and everyone attending wears the track home. Tracks like Poole produced Friday are just not acceptable. Interesting that the match report mentions dust but no apologies to the paying customers. Pretty much sums up the managements consideration for the supporters.

Never said it did, I was responding to the poster who wanted more shale on the track.
-
Correct
-
A bit more shale, are you serious. Its had over 150 ton of shale and clay put on it this year alone, that’s why every time was under 60 seconds Monday and the track record has gone twice this year.

We afforded him last year

I think Brad went for a gap that wasn’t really on. Thats the first time in 50 years I can remember that every heat was under 60 seconds, not so much one line but the inside was the quickest. Gating is all important at this level as very few mistakes get made and so it has proved in our first three matches. Hopefully the racing will improve a little over the next few months but it’s certainly entertaining, and the meetings are being run at a quick speed, about 1.5 hours so far.
