  1. A lot of riders don’t need help getting them excluded, if they are stupid enough to go over the centre green having been told it’s against the rules then that’s their decision, no one else’s.
  2. That would have been Olly Greenwood having a spin afterwards ) To be honest since the ruling changed I haven’t seen anyone going around the starting gate not get excluded and we have had a few this season who have unfortunately tried it, not sure why riders still do it because they have all been told.
  3. Proctor wasn’t sure of his options Alan which is why he asked Tony Steele
  4. Tony Steele had a trainee with him, Busy night for him with 8 reruns. Interesting that Proctor wanted to discuss his options with the referee (in a very calm manner) following his exclusion for going on the centre green around the starting gate. It appears with the 2 minutes being close he was told to go the quickest way to the tapes and the start Crew would raise the tapes for him, personally I understood the new rule was as long as you were on track and going towards the starting gate it was ok.
  5. 7.30PM start, weather is bright sunshine at the moment. Peterborough at full strength and Workington are using RR for Jorgensen, they have Tom Woolley at no 7.
  6. No plenty of money scares the establishment
  7. The promotion relegation game is just a con to get more money out of supporters at the end of the season. Let’s be honest any club could apply to run in the Premiership and would be welcomed with open arms, all you need is a track and a starting gate. Personally I would say the crucial thing would be which club Damien wants in the Premiership next year.
  8. Ged’s said many times and again fairly recently he will never ask the fans for a whip round again.
  9. The rulebook is a total crock of Shyte and has been for ages, I am told by the SCB that team line ups can be changed by the BSPA MC and this has clearly happened in this case. Makes you wonder what other rules they can ride roughshod over.
  10. You also have it in the speedway Regulations that Championship takes priority over National except for NLRC, yet apparently the BSPA MC have overruled that rule and state Bewley and Smith ride in the NL. What is the point. Ludicrous
  11. Depends on the owner, local derbies would be better with Lynn, Leicester, Rye and Ipswich all within easy reach but not sure weekday race nights would support it crowd wise, crowds were not good enough last time we tried it.
  12. Not just Holder and Lambert unfortunately which if the rumours are right is going to disappoint a few next weekend. Nick Morris & Josh Grajczonek - Rzestow Steve & Richie Worrall - Rawicz I also heard Jake Allen got a few rides over there but not sure for who
  13. Absolute legend and as you say a lovely bloke as well, all the very best PK
  14. Well the important question is does Damien Bates want PL racing in 2018 because the fact that he controls both clubs involved in the play off relegation non event makes it somewhat easier doesn’t it.
  15. Both fixtures now in the BSPA fixtures for October so just need the club websites updating but thankfully they are now confirmed.
  16. Perfect nick, the track was totally devoid of shale, it was so slick it completely ruined any chance of real racing although we did have a couple of good heats towards the end as Bomber got really dialled in but it was hard for the others especially early on as the track was set up clearly as the Scorpions top 5 wanted it and they were all very quick from the traps from the start. Racing overall was poor and judging by the attendance (about 250) it wasn’t the big turn out expected, as for the track specialist Richie Worrall, we couldn’t decide whether he was just poor because of the track or looking ahead for his team Glasgow, either way is wasn’t good.
  17. Just a shame he didn’t sign the lease then
  18. Problem is the weather forecast for the match day morning is for showers/rain up to 2.00pm, hopefully the forecast will improve. No doubt the Scunthorpe oracle will update everyone.
  19. I was thinking when Bates got injured last night at Glasgow, Sheffield & Leicester could both end using RR for him, try explaining that one to the general public.
  20. Indeed, but we get this every year and we still end up trying to cram everything in at the last minute
